Oh, my.....I see so many plotting badness that can happen, LOL. Demon chit had better stay in her bedroom and stay the hell out of William's, LOL.......Good on Darla, she's a clever one and I can't wait for the Spuffy moment and Maria having a bit of a talk with the not so bad pirate Spike........

Author's Response: *lol* Oh, much plotting badness is a-coming, hopefully I'll be able to intermingle some Spuffy goodness with it. ;) Thank you so much for reviewing!

I loved this glimpse into Darla's head, no one could ever accuse that woman of being a dumb blonde. That was one fine performance Darla put on with Joyce, she really played her beautifully.
I enjoyed the Spike/Buffy/Maria interaction. I like the way Maria keeps making Spike nervous.
Aimée is really in for a rude awakening, I can't wait for her to find out about Darla's plans. I'm kinda worried about Aimée's plan to talk to Buffy, I hope she doesn't cause too much trouble. Fantastic chapter!

Author's Response: Hee! I'm glad you liked Darla's performance, it was awfully fun to write it. I'm liking her much more than I anticipated in fact. ;)
Hee, I love that María can make him squirm, bad Mari, I know, but it's fun. ;)
Oh, I can guarantee that Aimée will create trouble, not as much as she'd like though. ;)
Thank you so much for your comment, darling!

Wow! Darla is one cunning master manipulator, she really thinks well under pressure. Gotta say her plan is a good one, I can't wait to find out how everything turns out! Great chapter!

Author's Response: Oh, yes, she's all that, definitely. Aimée should be taking notes. ;) Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked the chapter!

Just read the last 2 chapters and what a wealth of information. Must give Darla her due. She's very cunning and this should work nicely for Elizabeth and William. But then we have self-centered Aimee thinking he's only treating Elizabeth this way because he wants to make her jealous. You just know she's going to spill the beans to Elizabeth. (More than likely before William tells her himself). Just love Maria. God bless her. Looking out for our two. So looking forward to next and all updates.

Author's Response: Hee, and the information that's still coming. I don't know when I'll be able to finish this story at the rate it keeps growing. *lol* Oh, yes, Darla will be helpful (this time, at least) and Aimée will create havoc and try to impede the wedding by telling some things to Elizabeth. And yes, María is all for helping our two. :D Thank you so much, darling! I'm glad you're still enjoying the story.

These last 2 chapters are very VERY interesting, I just LOVE the way you show us Dona Darla De Alcazar...

Yes, this woman is a bitch. But, what a bitch! Let's admit it, she has a brain, and knows how to use it. The way she stays cold-blooded, perfectly calm with William's arrival, and the way she observes in the same time, everyone's reactions... Somewhere, I can't help myself to admire her.

I mean, you can hate an ennemy, but in the same time, recognize his talents. Darla analyses perfectly everyone's behavior, and starts to make plans. For example, she has so easily read in Joyce, guessing with success her stepsister's enthusiasm to be, for the second time, stepmother of a De Alcazar's son ;)!

Joyce, let's admit it, who is not as good actress than Darla, "feigning an innocence she was far away from feeling". And when she says: "“I think it might be better if I ask William what he thinks about it first, so he could court her. To give her the illusion that this will be a love marriage? You know how Elizabeth is with these things.” That's rich ;)!

Is it funny, or sad? It seems that Darla knows better Buffy than her own mother...

So yes, in a way, I prefer Bad Darla rather than Insipid Joyce ;)!

What a twist in the story :)! Darla acting like the perfect godmother, being the one who will give to William his real name, marrying him with Buffy...

Maybe...

Little Aimée has a lot of things to learn, no doubts ;)! Little Aimée who is, as always, incredible. So sure that William is jealous, loves her. And that he uses Buffy to make her jealous! ARFF :)! So many things in a so little head... But even little capricious girls can be very dangerous...

Since William has presented himself to the family De Alcazar, the story takes a new rythm. A new turn. The characters are now all on the same stage. And the word "battlefield" comes in my mind...

Let's the war begin?

Author's Response: Hee, can I just say that I love your reviews? I always love reading your insight in the story. Thank you so much!

And you're right about Darla. I don't know how it happened, it just did, she just took over with this new plan and boy, if she isn't planning some more surprises. ;) I think it's sad for Joyce that she actually doesn't know neither of her daughters and that even Darla being as she is, knows Aimée and Buffy even better than their own mother.

Oh, Aimée is not very bright, but as you point out she could be very dangerous and probably will be. ;)

Lol, you're probably right about the battlefield, we'll see, I guess. ;) Thanks so much again!
