I love Buffy's insecurity -- you're definitely making her more human, rather than the frosty bitch that we see in a lot of fanfics. Her vulnerability makes her human, and I love that.

Also, their combined confusion over what's changing is just brilliant. The force behind Spike's attack and the way it left him feeling...I'm gonna stop typing now 'cause I wanna keep reading.

Oh Buffy is angry now.. she thinks it didn't mean nothing to Spike. Can he 'fight' his way out of the trap? At last he was distracted enough to let Buffy go alone. And he is struggling with his feelings.
