Buffy is so gonna know he has a woman in the house, and I imagine she is going to be mad as hell. One thing she asked him to do and he's already breaking it.
I can take a guess at what makes Buffy so upset about his man-whoreness...in some way, she wants to be the one who changes him...it's always a girl's fantasy to be "the one", to make him wanna change and be with only you, when sometimes, in reality, some men never change, and the girl who wanted to be "the one", is only the one for now. Buffy wants to have some kind of standing with him, to be important, and he is already showing how little he really does think of her, no matter what he says.

I hope his ass realises that bringing another woman into his home with Buffy already in it will hurt her alot. But I know he'll still do it, cause men like him think with one thing. Sad really...don't know how your gonna redeam in later on.

oops naughty Spike she hadnt even got there and he was breaking his promise but something tells me he isnt going to be as sneaky as he thinks he can be and Buffy will find out.

The summary to the story caught my eye the other day at work while I was checking the recently added page and I finally found the time to read it today. I really like the concept, but I have to say two things.

One, Spike's being an idiot and completely disrespectful towards Buffy. You don't break a promise to a lady, especially when that lady is your best friend.

Two, I can't speak for all of us but not all guys are like that. (Sorry, I gotta defend myself a little lol) Some of us fantasize about having a wife and kids. I know I'd take that over meaningless sex any day.

I'm really enjoying reading this. I love the way your fics have a way of pulling us in and taking us on quite a ride. Keep up the great work. Can't wait for more.

I'm glad you did start this story. It's an interesting concept. Can a man whore really change? I have an acquaintance who is EXACTLY like this character. He was telling me stories that made my eyes widen beyond capacity. All I could think was that there was no chance in hell that a guy who could have any woman he wants actually settle for one person, that it's just a woman's pipe dream. It's just our girly fantasy that he could change with just the right person. Who the heck knows, but it still makes an interesting concept for a story. So saying that, how annoying that he was hitting on a girl right before Buffy came! God I hope she finds out and kicks his ass. I sure hope that it's a catalyst for the rest of the story. At least he could have tried!

he's such an ass, i hope she does go out with that guy and throw it in his face. meeting some bimbo at the airport and agreeing to sneak her in while buffy's there, ugh, i'm really hating him in this story and i hope his ways start to change soon. i really hate when people make spike such a slut. he's being an idiot and i hope he realizes that soon.

Ughh..I can't believe that Spike is planning on sneaking a girl up to his room the first night that Buffy is going to be there!! He truly is incorrigible!
