I just started reading this story today. Oh. My God. This is really well written. Normally, when stories include Buffy and Spike being apart, I hate it. In this one, I enjoy seeing what's going on in their lives apart from each other. Also, normally, when there's a new love interest in Buffy's life besides Spike, I'm seething with anger. Now, I actually like this whole Buffy/Gabriel thing you have going on. He's adorable! Lol, I can't help but call him Gabe. He'd hate me but oh well.

I love how you didn't have Willow forgive Spike right off the bat. To me that's so cheesy. I know if it were my friend, the guy would be begging for forgiveness. Maybe I'm just mean, but oh well.

I feel for your situation with your parents. I'm 16 and a sophomore and have tried my hand at writing a few fanfictions myself. If my mom ever found those, she'd probably have a few choice words for me. She doesn't even know I read fanfiction, much less write it. I used to make it a point to close any windows I had open when she walked into the room. Now I have my own laptop so I don't have to worry about that as much. I feel for you though.

Anyway, the point is, I love your story! Keep it up! I can't wait for the next chapter!

Ahhhhh...! I just knew we were headed toward this. Very brutal thing to have happened to Spike at such a young age. Yup..That would have screwed him up nice and proper. *sigh*

About your recent troubles..I forget how young some of you authors are sometimes. Take you for instance, there is so much depth and insight to your writing..it's hard to believe that you are as young as 17! (I mean that as a compliment) As a Mom..all I can say is sometimes parents get so caught up in the "right thing" or what they percieve to be the "right thing" that it can get out of hand. I am thinkiing that your parents are concerned for you and probley just don't get the whole.."fanfiction" thing. I for one think that you are pretty talented and if they could get past some of the more "racey" aspects of what you are writing..well perhaps they could see your talent and one day you could even have a career that uses you writing skills. You are certainly honing them here.. At any rate..good luck with your tests, SAT's and such..and remember this ...."And in time, this too shall pass.." It really is true. : D Good luck!

Looks like Spike's crazy mother killed Emma! I feel really bad for Spike and all he went through but glad Buffy has some happiness in her life. Great chapter!

OMG!!! Did William's/Spike's mom kill Emma? OMG!!! That's what it sounds like! His life is seriously starting to sound REALLY REALLY bad! Is Buffy and Spike ever gonna emet up again? Great chapter!
