Buffy stopped for now and told Gabriel her past. ~ And Spike made peace with Oz now.. and with himself? (Because he is now ready to 'see a girl'). ~ And again, when Buffy made a move to sleep with Gabriel, they were disturbed. Seems as if Karma is against it ;-) ~ Looking forward what will happen next when Faith and Kendra have left. ~ Whenever the next update will be.

OMG! That ending was hilarious!!! Wonderful chapter. I won't be giving up on this fic. I love it. Enjoy your summer!

Oh my.. Spike did it! He left Dru... took him long enough to find the courage to do it. ~ Now the song took Buffy back into the past, to happier times (at last I hope; and not to the bad times). I wonder if she'll be able to sleep with Gabriel now. It's good that the song came back in time. She doesn't love Gabriel. In a way she would only have used him. Buffy should be better then this. She know how it felt. Well.. I'm looking forward to see what she'll do now.

Damn it...just when I was actually getting into a Buffy/other pairing too! Evil-cliffie thy name is Effection, lol. Your earlier instruction to think of Gabe as Tom Welling was working its magic on me when it all came to pieces...~curses again under her breath~ Love the gradual unravelling of Spike's backstory simultaneously playing out against his attempt to pull it all together in the here and now while also updating us on Buffy's continuing journey. I can't wait to see what happens when they're in each other's worlds again. If the end of this chapter is a portent then it's sure to be interesting at least. More soon. Please?

Great chapter! Looks as though Gabriel will eventually be hurt as Buffy hasn't forgotten Spike.

I am getting excited about the prospect of Spike "fixing" his mistakes.. I know there is going to be alot of other things to be tended to...but I just know that eventually he will get to what he will see as one of his biggest mistakes..Leaving/hurting Buffy.. That means that the story is finally turning toward a time when Spike and Buffy will meet again.

Poor Buffy..She is still haunted by her love of Spike. That is a good thing to me because I am rooting for eventual SPuffy! I do feel a bit bad for Gabriel..I hope that he doesn't get hurt in the end.. Though I understand more why Spike did what he did..and I do feel terrible for him and want to see him happy..I still would like SPike to find Buffy somewhat happy, and in a good place in her life. A little jealousy wouldn't hurt either..lol I want to see Spike really fight for her! ( not literally though) Thanks for the great update!

Apparently (hopefully) Spike had a breakthrough with Dr. Travers. I hope he'll start now to make thinks right. Maybe it's time for Buffy to meet William. :) ~ And me? I'm glad that Buffy isn't falling head over heels for Gabriel.
