Can't wait to find out about Dawn too. What's the deal? She is going to school and he must be paying for it, just a little weird to say the least. Great way to introduce Dawn here, she did have a crush on him, thanks for the read.

I just didn't think that Spike would have anything to do with sex with minors. For some reason it didn't even seem plausible. Still very curious how Dawn and Spike met. And why she is now living with him. But Dawn's ramblings were enough for me to clear Spike's name. Hopefully Buffy will realize that she is being stupid and that she really does know Spike better than that. She was very fast to jump to a horrible conclusion. Buffy has been acting more and more like an agent lately. I think I liked her more before. Can't wait for more.

Author's Response: More will become clear as Buffy finally gets Dawn to spill in a more comprehensible manner. But she is still uptight girl, and will be unhappy regardless. I think I agree with you about Buffy - I like her better as herself too. But I think pulling back when frightened or angry is a natural reaction.

Methinks Dawn just may be suffering from delusions of grandeur?

In fact, I'm thinking this smacks of season 5 BTVS!

Anyway, I hope Buffy and Spike get together soon.

Author's Response: Thanks. I'm trying to stay as true to character and plot of the story as possible in an all human fic. Of course many things (besides the obvious) have been changed - but there are definately season 5 influences at work in this mixed up plot. You'll see other similarities later too.
