I am now up to date with this story and consequently rather anxious to read more.

The last thoughts from Billy were unsettling and my heart aches for the twins.

As I've said before, this is such an interesting premise; the POV from the twins in particular is beautifully written. How peculiar we adults must seem! Their perspective, along with Shanny's flashbacks, pack a real emotional punch.

The parallels in this story are so poignant:

Poor Shanny, so determined to be "normal" (just like the teenaged-Buffy) is now causing in her children the same feelings of inaequacy she still feels.

Spike must again share something with Angel....

I'm really looking forward to see how things turn out. Will Shanny ever forgive her parents and gain the maturity to accept herself? How will David react? Will Billy and Joyce trust their grandparents enough to reveal their secrets?

Wonderful start! Love the premise of Buffy and Spike having grandchildren. The twins are an interesting pair. I hope to read more soon.

I love it! The contrast between the twins, their sweetness, micheviousness, mystery. Are Buffy and Spike really old and wrinkled together? So cute. And if not, that's great too (cause old people pron is just *wrong*).
