I just these 5 chapters. I have to say I am more than a little surprised that Willow is feeling sympathaic to Spike based on her feeling from the past, but then agrees to do the horrible thing to her friend. The same person who befriended her at that time in her life when she felt so lonely. Kinda leaves me feeling like maybe Willow needs a lesson in friendship. I have a hard time believing that an empty fridge who presuade the watcher as well. I wonder if there will be any sort of follow-up for Spike to find out how it feels to be Buffy. He calls her a murderer in one chapter. That's more than a little off coming from the guy who calls humans happy meals on legs. She is, after all, a soldier for the powers that be.He himself is more than willing to kill demons once he finds out that is all he can kill. What does that make him, then? He says in the end of the last chapter that the witch is worth more than Buffy. He is forgetting maybe, how she smashed him over the head when he tried to comfort her over the loss of Oz? Apparently forgot the "will be done" spell that left them all in extremely bad posiitons as well. Never mind than cannon wise, Willow was never particularly kind to him either. I generaly enjoy the stories that try to teach Buffy a lesson or two, but I feel like this one is incredibly one sided.

Author's Response: Hi! Thank you for your points. Well, the plot is something I wanted to write for a while. As this would never happen in the real show, I had to twist the canon world a bit. I think most of the fanfics that are about some unusual / impossible scenarios are kinda AU fics, so does this one too. I accept your opinion about the differences at the characters, yet I think those changes must be done as the story couldn't work without them. This series is just for fun, so if one's sticked to canon, they should be open-minded regarding this fic. I know that Willow is Buffy's best friend, that's why I tried to portray her a bit reluctant in the beginning. Yet, every person is a distinguished human being, and they all have issues, views, thoughts that may influence their emotional state. You can't see inside their heads, so don't know what's going on in their minds. I didn't write all of the thoughts either, I leave it to the readfers. Anyway what I want to point out that one can be in such an emotional state that the slightest thing might make you act different than normal. You call this vampire-spell a horrible thing. Actually it's not as terrible as it's just a temporary situation, it's only for 7 days. Different than forever. Anyway, thank you for reading, most that you don't like it. If you happen to read the next chapters too, I'd be pleased if you posted your thoughts about those as well. PS: I would be curious - how would you resolve those points you mentioned?

Except Willow none of the Scoobies seems to trust Spike to take care of Buffy, huh? But Giles changed his mind after he noticed that Buffy emptied his refrigerator :) Now he is good with Spike teaching Buffy some manners. Well she got her second lesson now; we'll see if she understood :)

So Buffy still has a heartbeat yet she is a vampire. The slayer part? Maybe. Nifty: Buffy can't kill means indeed neither Spike nor Buffy can kill each other. I wonder if Buffy will learn.
