Damn...she has more than just a "man ho" now! I am loving these two together. Smutty goodness aside, their inner monolouge is so cute and while I do enjoy a good bit of angst once in a while, the lightheartedness of this always leaves me smiling at the end of a chapter.

I am glad to hear the next update isn't far behind. You are doing a smashing job so far!

The easy dialogue and relaxed way they are with each other is delightful. I love that Buffy was Spike's first, and he was so thrown he forgot a condom. She's really getting under his skin, and her jealous thoughts show she's right there with him.



Author's Response: Good, that's really good you and everyone else is picking up on that sense of ease they have with one another, it's serving a purpose down the road. Yup, she's getting under his skin and vice-versa, but they've a long road ahead of them as well. Not too angsty though, especially not for my first fic. This Spuffy interlude was deliciously hot, but I also found it sweet that Buffy has been the only person that's ever put Spike's needs above their own. I really enjoyed learning more about William. I liked the conversation between Spike and Buffy, it's so cool that William is a chef at Buffy's favorite restaurant. Love how the story is progressing. Fantastic chapter!

She's definetely making an impression upon him with her selflessness and desire for him... and his needs as a man, not a ho. There's a lot more to come as far as learning about Spike/William too that I hope you like. A chef (VERY sexy!!), his "first" (incredibly HOT), a professional so caught up in his client that he forgot a condom (TOTALLY flattering for B), she loves his chocolate dessert (icing on the cake). Masterful touch that she loves his chocolate cake, which truly sounds decadently yummy. Loved how possessive their thoughts about the other they are, how jealousy is showing when they each think of the other with someone else. Author's Response: Oh yes, they are smitten with one another. I had to have it that way to lay the ground work for the rest of the story. A man who can cook is a keeper in my mind - especially if he makes good desserts. Yeah, the condom issue is always a hard one to attack, but I wanted him so desperate to have her that all reason fled his mind. I soooo can't wait for your next installment...
