I am really enjoying this story. Hope the happier chapters are posted soon. I understand that some angst is necessary . You need conflict and resolution to carry the story along and keep us all interested but a little bit of happiness for our couple would be nice. I'm so enjoying Lorne in this fic. The shopping trip was all kinds of fun. Lorne was a good balance of effervescence and calculation. I liked his quiet observation of Buffy, and I was delighted with the outcome of the chapter. Buffy really isn't being manipulated, she's coming to her own conclusions. I'm looking forward to her plans for Spike, or is it going to be William finally?
