Excellent chap. A truly "date" like evening and I hope Buffy learned what she need to learn. They belong together. I love the thought's from Spike that he will pursue Buffy after he quites the "business". If Buffy has enough money to "rent" Spike all the time, maybe she can just invest in his resturant business with him! More please... what game does Buffy have in mind to play?
Author's Response: Yes, they needed to connect on a more personal/romantic level. William has definetely decided that Buffy is going to be his number one priority from now on and find another way to buy his restaurant. Buffy could easily 'rent' him out in order to help him reach his goal, but that's the easy way out and she still needs to hear from him exactly what's going on inhis life - all the details. This was another entertaining, romantic chapter. I'm enjoying the way these two are emotionally invested but afraid to say anything. The easy, playful domesticity was lovely to read. I really liked the small detail of co-mingled washing making William dream of their future together.
