Yes, I had wondered about the pregnancy comment last chapter and just forgot to say anything. I agree that these two have too much to deal with to throw a baby in the mix (I don't think I could handle that much angst.) This chapter started off with me again feeling torn about bitchy Buffy. I can definitely get why she was pissed (he was not listening to her and respecting her wishes), but at the same time what he was doing was very sweet (which probably would tend to piss me off more), but she did apologize for being so bitchy. I also think her distaste for his line of work had alot to do with being jealous of him sleeping with other women ( although, I could be projecting. I have a tendency to do that with her.) William needs to realize that telling a woman to wait for an explanation is like waiving a red flag in front of a bull. Our minds start to wonder what exactly he could be hiding and the reality is going to be so much tamer than what the mind can make up. Hopefully, it is not too late when he tells her (but I know you would not do that to us.) It was nice to finish it up with some sexy fun!! Thanks for that!! Congratulations about getting to see your sweety. My husband and I had been married for about ten years when due to a job thing we were forced to live 2000 miles away from each other for 14 months. It was the most miserable 14 months of my life, so I can sympothize with how you feel. Don't worry about your readers, they will be here when you get back. After all it is the holiday season, I am sure site hits will go down some. Enjoy your time with your family, that is the most important thing!!

Author's Response: Yup, I screwed up with last chapter's a/n. The last chapter and this chapter were originally one big chapter that I ended up having to split into two, due to the size limitation of the site. In one sense, Buffy had every right to be angry because she did need her space, but of course poor William was trying so hard that when she finally saw that, she gave into it and saw it for what it was and how it was intended. Buffy is most definetely jealous of the fact he sleeps with women for a living, she knows she has no right, but those feelings are there all the same. If she would accept the fact she loves him it would make things a tad easier, but he's not giving her reason enough to see it that way. They're both so stubborn. LOL, oh yes, I agree with you, about the red flag comment, we women are geared that way. Thanks for the well wishes, sweety, I appreciate it. It's nice to see that you understand my situation from a first hand experience point of view. It's definetely not an easy task playing single parent and being responsable for everything on a daily basis. I hope you never have to be seperated from your husband again. Author's Response: Yeah, they really did. There may be some discussion in the morning but Buffy knows asking him anything more would be pointless until he's ready. Yup, this is my hubby's second tour to the middle east, and unfortunetely not the last, according to his unit's orders, but we're hanging in there as best we can. I'm fine with what he has to do even if it makes life harder by having to take over all houselhold and legal responsibilities. It's my kids (ages 4 and 7) that make it hard. The tears and uncertainty that daddy will ever come home breaks my heart. Despite having talks with them to help them understand that it's just a job and he'll come back for good, well, in their tiny minds the concept of time isn't really there. All they know is he isn't here and they have a very close relationship with him and can't understand that if daddy loves them then why doesn't he just come home. So we'll all be grateful to see him over the holidays, I just fear the difficulty that will come when he goes to leave again. I hope you enjoy your holidays sweety. I really did enjoy this chapter, caring William feeding her and how you can understand both their feelings and reasons though you want to slap them hard to make them come to their senses ! I also liked Buffy's little tease game, how wicked but humanly and femininely understanble. And William's big tease game, of course, waow ! I love your sense of humour.
