That was truly a very "sweet dream." I just hope "Elizabeth" corresponding to William won't alter the past and render "Spike" nonexistent. This is such an excellent tale. I really love the twist of the desk (reminds me of the movie Lakehouse). More please.

I read this one in the morning... my morning and I thought you forget me, because there was no answer to my comment. But now... back from work and doing my job as a reader... I got an answer, too. That makes me soooooooo happy, I can´t even tell you.
So, I do not get a hint. Okay, I can live with that and when you say, that there is a reason I have to believe you. *gg*

I loved this one and It was really hot to see or better read what they have together. And she knows already that his kisses are right familiar. But she doesn´t know why. And now I want to read how she fells like when she gets a picture of him.

I loved this story from the first chapter and I am always glad to see a new chaper. I am a big fan of William but I love me some Spike mixed in there too.

I couldn't wrap my mind around how it was going to work out for this couple but WOW ... the direction that it it going in has certainly become interesting and the passion factor has definitely been turned up a few notches HOT, HOT, HOT !!!! We are getting Buffy and William's points of view ... I am curious as to what is going on with Spike at this point (is he in a "possessed state" or does he know what the real deal is?) I am so impatient aren't I?

Awesome chapter ... dying, impatiently, for the next.

And they kissed, finally. But Buffy could now remember that she got such kisses earlier from "another" person... but she will deny it because she " hates" Spike. So I have to be patient and wait til the next chapter or chapters, I think, and what you two have planned.

So this was the little chat Spike and Joyce had. Very interesting. But it´s funny that Spike couldn´t remember that he wrote such letters. I thought that it came to his mind when Joyce told him that, even wiht the name AND the poems.

And who is it who is visiting William?? Is it Cecily or is it Dru? And BTW who is it who was watching Buffy getting the desk in the first chapter?? You see, I have questions over questions and I´m happy when I can read the next chapter on sunday.

I really enjoyed Spike's talk with Joyce, it was very smooth of her to slip in the mother-in-law remark when Spike least expected it... lol. It was very interesting that Spike is jealous of William, and doesn't remember the letters. Looks like Dru is gonna help William find a way to meet his Elizabeth. Can't wait to find out what happens next. Great chapter!

OMG, this is my FAVORITE chapter yet. I really, really like your Spike. He’s funny in this, I mean I got a few really good chuckles out of the dialogue. And oh, loved the part... ‘Right. So now the Slayer will have one more reason to kill me,’ the vampire thought and immediately after he looked down at his crotch in a threatening way. ‘And don’t even dare to find that exciting!’ LMFAO, that was bloody brilliant.

First he doesn’t want to get paid by ‘ol Rupes, then he gets instantly jealous of the mystery past guy? Oh yeah, he’s in deep. And now I also feel guilty for being suspicious of Joyce. I can’t get over how funny she is in this too, playing cupid. First she’s like suuuuper sweet to Spike and doesn’t want to see him as a vampire (such a polar extreme to her daughter), but she’s already treating him like a son, er, son-in-law, giving him furniture. That was awesome when after hinting a bit about dating Buffy, she spelled it out for him – didn’t even take no for an answer or acknowledge his denial. Ahhh, a woman sees what a man can’t. Love how sheepish and whipped he is by Joyce – just like his mum. And they exchanged stories, wow. She is get Spike the hook-up and that was awesome that he had that thought – however fleeting – that it might have been his past self. Can’t wait to see if he’s going to get to read the poetry, I assume he’d know right away it IS him. I’m glad he has Joyce on his side and that his first instinct is to ask where Buffy is – probably so he can go see her.

Uh oh, and Dru makes her appearance, just when William is thinking about moving heaven and earth to meet his Elizabeth. Beautiful timing. I can see him willingly going to Dru, but with Buffy on his mind. I adore how passionate his character is, such beautiful development - and of course that Cecily got the brush-off.

I’m still so wow’d you let me play with some of the words, and kept them??? I’m incredibly beyond flattered. You’re so sweet to mention me in the a/n, it gave me the warmest fuzzies I’ve had all week. You and Lu are the best.

We're so happy you found the dialogue (and Spike) funny, as we're trying to keep the story as light and funny as we can. And yes, you're right Spike's in deeper than he suspects. ;) Knowing that you liked Spike/Joyce's interaction is wonderful for us, as all you pointed is what we were trying to convey.

I guess that's how I imagine William to be, passionate, willing to risk everything for love, not thinking about the consequences of his actions, just hoping against hope that in the end he'll get what he wants: be with Elizabeth.

Buffy and Spike are so cute in their exchanges. I am glad that Joyce is on Spike's side and I like the explanation she gave Buffy about why she liked Spike for her. Great job.
