Well-written chapter - Spike and Buffy are just so cute!

I liked it much - this cuteness always forces me to hold my breath, because I don't want the atmosphere to be destroyed. I like how Spike feels for Buffy, and the scene with the two of them on the ground was really intense. I'm excited what's going to happen next.

I just wanted to read some chapters before my first review, and I have to admit that Addie was right - this is indeed very cute! It's not very often that I read other fanfics, but this is worth it. You created such an emotional atmosphere that I caught my breath. And the last moment was wonderful. I bet Spike is totally stunned by what Buffy has done... :) I have to go on reading now...

I was sent here by the wonderful Addie Logan on a recommendation she put on her website; and now after reading, i see she had great reason to recommend. This a great story. I am glad that you have take your time in developping Buffy and Spike's relationship. In earlier chapters you had shown the bit of William in Spike, and I like how you have now incorperated the demons part in Spike's personality as well. You have balanced this story very well, and it flows very naturally. Super fic, and I am impressed when you say you are new to this. You have demonstrated great maturity in writing. Good job =D

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words. I'm finding that the characters are beginning to write the story for me. It helps to have protagonists with strong traits. These two are always just a little bit too insecure for their own good. You know? So we'll see where they take us. Sd

Hehe.. Spike forgot that he didn't wear any clothes? Moving statue then *gg*. My first thought when Buffy tried to keep her countenance ... but maybe she had to keep herself from laughing? Loved it :) Even more because they were able to talk without the misunderstanding. And don't worry that you take it too slowly. I think as the writer you must know the pace you're going that is right for it. ~ Till next chapter :)

I saw Addie's comment on the tag, and thought I'd give this fic a try. Terrific job! Not at all what I expected, much more original, and yet very true to the characters. I can't wait to read more.

I just found this great story and read all chapters at once ... hope it's OK not to have left individual updates. This is a well thought out story and I am anxious to see how it plays out. Nice to see a Buffy who actually realizes things sooner rather than later. Thanks
