Nice to have some of the original Sunnydale Slayers in the battle -

I loved this chapter as always. You have made & kept your characters complex especially Buffy & Spike. It is one of the reasons that you have me reading your story so avidly. I prefer my stories & characters with complexity. It makes me think & inspires me to comment. Think it is obvious by my reviews that your story does just that. This chapter jittered with right before the battle nerves. I love Faith here so much. I love the visual of the slayers decked out in commando wear. I am fascinated by Angel's & Spike's confused contemplation of Buffy wearing the duster. My heart aches & cheers that Spike has such confidence in their side's ability to win & his need for his soul. It makes me smile that Buffy is in Slayer mode yet naturally aware of Spike. Think this is a great line..."There had only been two things Spike and Buffy had ever done right together, one of them, well that was the obvious, and the other was fighting, whether they be side by side or face to face, when they danced, the music cut to their tune." I love when you show this happening when they fight beside each other. You paint such wonderful pictures of your scenes that I can visualize everything so easily. So with my stomach in knots the battle begins...
