I enjoyed reading Buffy's thoughts throughout the chapter. And I loved Dawn's introduction into the story. She certainly made a memorable first impression on Buffy, their interaction was so cute... lol. Great update!

Well that was certainly an explosive first meeting between Spike and Buffy. Poor Spike, I completely understand why he blew a fuse and i'm glad Buffy understood it too. I loved Buffy's encouraging words to Spike. Fantastic chapter!

Oh, Winifred is Spike's sister? Better then a S/F pairing for me ;-) Good to see the hard time they had in their youth only made them stronger. You didn't tell who Dawn was, right? I didn't find it only parts with "getting her from school" for Spike. I guess she is his daughter then from Spike/other? And it was Dru who did the accusation. I wonder what was going on in her head. Loved the cameo appearance. And the chapter!

I like this story sofar...am wondering though, what does calvary have to do with this chapter? Unless you meant "cavalry" which makes more sense to me. Sorry if I'm wrong and putting my foot in it.
Author's Response: Actually I looked up "Calvary" in the dictionary before I posted the chapter, and one of the difinitions was "an experience of usually intense mental suffering." I thought it went well with what Spike was going through wating for Wesley to arrive. I'm such a dork when it comes to words, and am constantly trying to find new ones ;p.
