Nice update Lindsay. I'm quite captured by the genuine nature of Buffy & William's feelings, as well as their insight. William's taken with Buffy but realises it's not love yet - it can't be when he doesn't truly know her (though it doesn't prevent him from suspecting he could easily fall...yaaay). Buffy on the other hand appears to have harboured some affections for William prior to his decision to change his image. That to me shows her good taste and ability to see beyond the purely superficial. Then there's Oz and Willow who just give me the warm fuzzies - thank you for including their classic "I'm gonna ask you out" conversation. I think they were one of the most adorable BtVS couples ever (I also loved their "ever noticed how the monkey is the only animal cracker who wears pants" conversation). More soon. Please?

As great as those fics are i wanted to try for a little real life in my fantasy writing lol. I totally forgot about the monkey lol, i may have to use it now BUT i will give you full credit (if you dont mind), im glad you liked the convo. i borrowed from the show, i thought it was too good not to use lol. As fun as superficial is to write about i try to think about different ways to hook up with Spike, like say ways i dream about (teehee). i am so in love with the way this story is going. i love the fact that were getting a feel for the other characters as well instead of always being buffy and spike or buffy and angel...

i love the fact that its old school meets new world to create a combination of cliches and jokes and all around great storytelling. good job linz, if that is ure real name...

Loved reading the chapter. So a big gift from Joyce? And yeah, it's only a story. And Buffy thought Joyce hides something from her too. Wonder if she is wrong. William? The gift was cute but Buffy was disappointed because Spike brought up the friends thing. Hopefully more soon ;-) Story and more than friends.
