What the hell were u thinking? I mean he rapes her and now u expect us to believe that she will magically fall in love with him? What the hell were u smoking? I mean if he had somehow coerced her into it I might have bought it but this was rape and the only place in the world where a woman falls in love with her rapist I would say are in soap operas.

Not to mentioned that you pretty much killed of Spike in this story for me, I mean what kind of asshole is he? Raping some one and thinking that he's doing them a favour. He forced her and that makes him a rapist how can anybody in their right mind think he's not a total scum bag?

If the object was to fuck her up good mentally then I would say he succeded. I mean if he treats her just right he can get her to become totally dependent on him, ofcourse that would mean destroying her mentally but what the hell he already raped her so why not.

Author's Response: First off, I'm going to ignore the fact I warned every reader that this was a dark tale and that there would be a rape between the two main characters. I'm also going to ignore that this is fiction and in no way a real-life story. I respect your view and I hope you would respect mine as to just move on. I'll leave your review up as it is an important view, however, you were warned and decided to ignore all the warnings. In s6, Spike was well on his way of raping Buffy. In no way did his being stop himself, only the fact Buffy found a way to push him away to make him realize what a mistake he was about to make. Buffy is a very strong character and has found a way through all the f-ed up BS that the men in her life throw her way. Although this story does have rape, it isn't about making rape OK. I never meant for that tohappen (and if I tried, I wouldn't succeed) The characters worked together and apart (when needed) to move beyond a tragic event. Spike had to attone for his sins. Buffy had to remove herself to become a stronger person. I do hope you can move on, also, as this isn't your cup of tea.

Gonna do something I don't normally do and feel for Buffy on this one. William has really screwed up big time (fortunately - redemption is a big part of the Spuffy world and he's still got a chance - although I would imagine the road is going to be long and straight uphill!). I feel for Him too, cause he's obviously got some major issues if he things he's got to FORCE buffy to be with him. Well, give me some more cause leaving it here is pretty heart-breaking. And I hope Buffy isn't so broken that all her fires gone and if so, I hope he can bring it back eventually. Wonderful scene, probably hard to write, but very moving and emotional. I'm surprised William didn't realize sooner what he was doing and I'm also surprised that he's not now disgusted with himself and his actions. More please.

Author's Response: Yes, it was a very hard scene to write. Spike does have a long road and this wrong move has brought his life choices into focus. Glad that you enjoyed it, but are anxiously awaiting more (tomorrow)
