Hey, long time, I know! A lot of work, and a big problem: time to read stories OR time to write reviews. But, to write a review, I need to read the story...

So Buffy talks to Spike. For the first time, she is not alone with this cruel past. "She didn’t have to carry it all alone anymore", yes it's true, when you are not alone to carry a burden, the burden is lighter.

And I like the way you write this chapter. No drama, no "Cry me a river". Total and simple. Direct. The naked truth. And it has more weight.

Spike understands the gift Buffy has given him when she has told him the truth. This wonderful girl trusts him! After him being (almost) a jerk (let's admit it, when he was in his "War against the Bad Buffy"'s thing, he acted in fact like a jerk!), Buffy trusts him enough to see him and only him worthy of knowing her secret!

"“I’m glad.” He said. “Buffy I’m so glad. And…” he paused, raising a hand to cup her cheek. “I’m sorry. Sorry I nearly believed them. Sorry for what I nearly did.”

It was time, boy! And in the same time he learns that the past object of his affection, Dru, does naughty things with Angel... Reality rocks!

The way Buffy talks about Harrison is so beautiful :)! Despite he is born of the rape, he is not for Buffy a reminder of her nightmare, but the one who helps his mother, saves her litteraly: “It was my son who pulled me through everything", “Harrison kept me alive.”

And finally, the Kiss. :)! A perfect way to close a chapter, with a certain deal... (So, Angel is not only a bastard and a moron, but a bad kisser? Color me surprised ;) ...)

Healing, calming, peaceful chapter. That was really nice. I hope that what is in store for them in the future has them paired up against the "others". I really really really am hoping that her part of the deal is NOT for him to leave her and Harrison alone.

I like this Buffy that you have created. Obviously many other of your fans do too. Your Spike is pretty awesome too. I voted for you in the awards ... love this story.

I hope all is good with you and you are inspired enough to continue this wonderful story. RL throws some crazy twists and turns at us but I know that writing can be a great release (time permitting). Thanks for sharing your talent.

I'm so glad you updated!! I had been really looking forward to reading on. I'm glad that Buffy confessed to someone. I know how hard it is to hold something like that in. And that kiss was so sweet! I really disliked Spike in earlier chapters, but I could tell, through the power of your writing, that he was truly remorseful. Congrats on your Spuffy Awards nomination, btw!!
