It has been some time *rereads first chapter* OK now.
I wonder if Spike noticed Buffy was lying to him (not looking in his eyes, maybe a quicker heartbeat). Spike is adjusting very well in this other time, the past. Lord Webster, huh? What a change to be only a vampire. But who is Buffy? Merely a child? It sounds like it. Ah no, a housemaid. And they are in England? Maybe Spike knows his way around. Good that Buffy is used to sneak out for patrolling. She can use that now. ~ More of this one too? I hope :)
