I have to say you did the impossible. For the first time ever in a Spuffy fic I was happy that Angel punched Spike even if I am rooting for him. Well done and very well written. Can't wait to see what comes next.

How harsh for Buffy... hearing nothing from Spike in quite some time and then spotting him with his Ex looking like he did before. And seeing him kissing Drusilla (after we but only we heard this thoughts the whole time)? Devastating for Buffy. ~
And all because he was jealous. Congratulations, Spike! You really screwed things up now *sigh*
So sad for Buffy...

Any author creative enough to make Dru a hair dresser is definitely going to do the rest of this story justice. (Nothing against hair dressers ... two of my good friends are hair dressers)

Looks like somebody lost his decency quotient while he locked himself away...You really screwed up, Spike. Geeze, he couldn't even call Buffy during those two months? Write her a note? Something? What the hell's a girl supposed to think when a guy just disappears for that long....and then he goes to dinner with Dru? Did his sister set that up? I wouldn't think Dru would give him a second glance....I'm sure she's hardly thought about him this whole time since the accident.

Buffy gave him a good dose of honesty, too. Good for her.

There's really no quick and easy way out of this for Spike. If I was Buffy, I wouldn't believe a word coming out his mouth. I can understand, maybe, not wanting to tell Buffy about the surgery beforehand. But to disappear without talking to her for 2 months? Then instead of immediately calling her and seeing her he goes on a date with Dru? Then when he does first see Buffy instead of going over and explaing himself to her (thereby learning Angel is her brother) he ignores her? It was his responisibility to approach her because he is the one who has so drastically physically changed. Instead he decides to make out with Dru? Then he roughs Buffy up in the ladies room and doesn't stop when Buffy alerts him that he is hurting her? None of these actions would clue Buffy in to the fact that he cares about and for her. He certainly didn't act like he cared for her before his surgery. It should be a long road ahead for Spike. I hope Buffy is smart enough to really think about what she is getting into with this very unstable and angry man.

Not really seeing why Buffy would be in love with Spike. This is not a nice man. Before his surgery, he was cold and not nice to her. He then disappears without warning and doesn't tell her about his surgery. He immediately goes out with Dru and then kisses her in front of Buffy on purpose to hurt Buffy. He then shoves Buffy around hurting her physically and yells at her even though he was the one just making out with his ex! If Buffy was my friend, I would tell her to run as far away from this man as she could get before he hurts her again. Spike has a LOT to make up for and I wouldn't blame Buffy for not believing or trusting him for a long time.
