Not really seeing why Buffy would be in love with Spike. This is not a nice man. Before his surgery, he was cold and not nice to her. He then disappears without warning and doesn't tell her about his surgery. He immediately goes out with Dru and then kisses her in front of Buffy on purpose to hurt Buffy. He then shoves Buffy around hurting her physically and yells at her even though he was the one just making out with his ex! If Buffy was my friend, I would tell her to run as far away from this man as she could get before he hurts her again. Spike has a LOT to make up for and I wouldn't blame Buffy for not believing or trusting him for a long time.

So Buffy is back in school now. So Spike should be able to find her there. But Buffy didn't find him in the cabin. The surgery was successful, that's good. (That is what Spike wanted.) And now Drusilla is back? Ah, Cecily called her. And now Drusilla claims the never stopped how she felt about Spike? Oh yeah, that's why she was with him all the time. Good that Spike doesn't let her fool him.
And all he wants now is Buffy. I hope he won't forget this. And that Buffy won't see him with Drusilla when she, Buffy, didn't know where he was... He should go with his feelings and go to see Buffy. Ah well, I'm looking forward to find out what will happen.

Whoa !!! Please dump the Dru and run to the Buff. If not now then eventually. (I'm praying that this awesome, unique story of yours has a cool, happy ending to it) This Buffy that you created here is so
patient and special that it just seems as though she deserves a measure of happiness with her Spike that she loves no matter what he looks like.

So, will he tell her about the surgery before he goes in? She'll be dreadfully worried if he disappears for a while, during the healing process.

loved it but something tells me that spike isn't gonna get the reaction that he thinks he is when buffy sees his face after surgery. i really don't think the scars mattered to her. she loved him before he got them and she still loves him now. great job. please post soon.
