Damn... what a whore. And no i don't think of women that sleep around as whores or sluts. I only save those names for women that really deserve it, like women that cheat and women that think just because they carried the kid for 9 months gives them the right to keep the father out of the kids life. That the father can't love their kids as much as they do because we didn't give birth to him/her.

Unless the fathers some abusive redneck drunk or into criminal activity the father should always be allowed to see his kids if he loves them. Women that think that way make me sick. They should be put down like the bitches they are.

Well, forgive me for confusing the millions of fanfiction stories out there. When you've read as many as I have, they tend to blend together. I meand no offense.

So Doyle never told Buffy Spike was there. He is very protective of Buffy it seems. *wonders why*.
Buffy is lucky that Brandon sleeps so much.. ~ And now Buffy asked him if he left Cecily. And he answered truly that he didn't. In a way I can understand why Buffy doesn't want him around her baby if he is still with Cecily and acting like he is (though I think with a lawyer Spike would get the right to visit). And Cecily will find out about it if Spike keeps visiting Buffy. Especially if Spike doesn't give in to Buffy. But calling Buffy like Spike did? He earned that blow (hit). And Buffy is even more right with what she asked him after that. ~ Looking forward to hear Spike's excuse, so to say.

Okay, one more thing, I'm starting to wonder if some of you are even paying attention to the story. Spike is married to Cecily, not Drusilla. If they can't even get that right, it's hard to take any of them seriously. Again, continue what you're doing. You know I'm a devoted fan.

Aaarrrggg! I really liked this story in the beginning, but now it's just getting so...messed up! If anyone needs therapy, it's Buffy. She's the one who was being abusive (yeah, he caled her a bitch, but she was being one) She slapped him! How is that not abuse! And how the heck can she say she's trying to get her life back on track if she's f***ing the first guy she's attracted to!?! She didn't even think to find out if he was married or not! And no wedding ring does not automatically equal not married...Duh! And, if Spike needs to grow a pair, it should be so he can stick up to Buffy. I am officially getting on the "Buffy's a raving bitch" train. Yeah, their relationship is screwed up, but Buffy is extremely out of line in this situation. She's a hypocritical, lying slut!

Author's Response: I did warn for extreme angst, so there was a possibility of it being "extremely messed up". I would slap someone if he called me a whore basically...lol. And if you've been reading, she does not have a pristine background, she has been trying to change, he however, has not. And no, it does not equal not married to have no wedding ring, but that can't exactly be considered her fault if he is not forthright with the information....Spike is a slut himself...but, thanks! :)

I know you warn angst in later chapters in the story summary, but I do hope this tale sorts itself out in the end.... please?

Not that Buffy's automatically going to be a great mother, but after this little interaction, I think she needs to keep Brandon away from Spike until he gets his act together. The child should come first and if Spike can't show even a modicum of respect for the mother of his child who he has treated like shit, then he doesn't deserve to be around either one of them.

Man, where does Spike get off calling Buffy a bitch? If anything, he's the bitch...Cecily's bitch. And then attacking BUFFY'S morals? No way. What a freakin' loser. I don't blame Buffy one bit for refusing to let Spike into the baby's life right now. He's an adulterous, lying slut.

Spike should learn to not speak when he's angry.

ALRIGHT, you know me ... the angst wimp !!! But now I am hooked (dang it) So, I am also compelled to review because I love your stories and you are too cool.

Although there was a lot of uncomfortable yuck mess in this chapter it was also tempered with tenderness ... in the beginning they almost seemed like loving parents ( I love it when you slip those moments in). Also, at the end when they got brutally truthful with each other at least she said that he made her believe in love at first sight. That was definitely a huge compliment to him. He just needs to get his act together and go for it.

Sure would be nice if the next time someone asked him if he'd left his wife he could say YES!!!

Loved the moment when they are tucking Brabdon in his beddy-bye, and the way Spike is so emotional about his son. Unfortunately, the yelling obsenities at each other won't do much for the kid's future. Hopefully, Spike will be inspired by Buffy's words that she believed in love at first sight to straighten up and leave his wife.
