Intriguing that Buffy new Oscar in the future.

'Course, since I actually like Angel on AtS, I'm pulling for Liam to finally make good/right what he did, and help them. If he ever cared for Buffy, at least (which I believe he did), or family, then he needs to fix this....or at least atone.

Author's Response: I agree. He should help. But, even if he wanted to, which I think he does...because I believe that, under all that "jealous vampire crap", Angel really *does* love Spike, and doesn't want to see him hurting in any way; could he?

Loved the Spike/Liam interaction. Gotta say I find it very satisfying to see Liam quaking in fear. Now, I have to wonder exactly how truthful that fear will force Liam to be... his story should definitely be intriguing. Great chapter!

Author's Response: Has "Liam" ever been truthful? Do you think he's really that scared...?

Homer's interactions with Spike and Buffy were so poignant. Loved the end of chapter! Gotta say I found it very satisfying to see Liam terrified. Can't wait find out what Spike is does with Oscar's gift... Is it wrong of me to hope it's kinda painful? Fantastic update!

Author's Response: No...but remember, Joni is just upstairs, and I don't think she really understands what her "Daddy" can do yet. I think it *might * scare her.

*sniff* Oh no!!! Poor Homer! The Homer parts of the chapter are so sad! Now that Oscar has dumped Liam with Spike will he fade into the shadows? Or will we see him again? Loved the update. Can't wait to find out if Homer is okay!

Author's Response: Someone has to tell Spike what's going on. If Liam won't- and we know he won't- then it has to be Oscar. He's not going away. And someone has to deal with the consequeses of the magic. It looks like it might be Homer...

Gotta just love how the innocence of a child can make all the difference in this heartbreaking situation... it's so great that Joni was able to shed light on the Angel problem. Excellent chapter!

Author's Response: I think it just took someone who was wise beyond her years to point Mommy and Daddy in the right direction.

*wipes away a tear* What an emotionally charged chapter! I loved the "Vanishing Point" flashback, it brought back so many bittersweet memories. And Buffy accusing poor Homer of being evil nearly broke my heart in two. Because of the tearjerking Homer situation I think I better keep a box of tissues handy when I read the next chapter. Nice work, the update was amazing! Can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Sorry about the lack of tissue warning. What can I say about Buffy? When she's stressed she puts her foot in it, big time! I'm so glad you're enjoying this story.

So, he's William. The part of William that stayed in Spike when the soul left. But also his consciousness, or at least, Spike thinks he is.

Time for Oscar to make Liam fix this, yeah?

Author's Response: Not quite...but you're getting warmer. Liam should be showing his face very soon.

I loved the close of the chapter. Spike, Homer, and Joni all in one room was spectacular, gotta say i'm really worried for Homer though. Wonderful update!

Author's Response: Your instincts are right. You should worry...but will Homer tell Buffy what he needs?

Wow! When you said Oscar did his homework you weren't kidding... loved this new twist you dropped on us in Oscar's flashback! And a big YAY... to Homer's reappearance... even if it is just a brief one, I love it when he's around. Fantastic chapter! ~ Happy New Year!!! :D

Author's Response: Homer's great isn't he? Gives you hope.

Loved the moment of clarity when Buffy realized she "was" the Mommy and instinct took over. Good ol' Homer, gotta say i'm glad he's gonna help out... cause that was one huge promise Buffy has to keep. Wonderful chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks! You just know "Homer" was just itching to get in there. He alway did love a good fight.

I absolutely loved the family interaction between the Dustin's in this chapter, and i'm so glad Buffy and Joni's talk over the cocoa was so enlighting. Now finding out what Buffy does with her new insight should be interesting. Great update! :D

Author's Response: Family time is always nice. Let's hope that Buffy can put the dots togrther soon. Papa might be in danger if she doesn't.

The new info about Dru and Oscar was very intriguing. Poor Buffy... I know she's under a lot of pressure, but it's still sad she can't take a moment to enjoy some precious family time. Can't wait for Buffy and Joni's talk over the cocoa. Loved the chapter!

Author's Response: I know. But, she needs to understand what happened to Spike. The little talk should be very illuminating.

Whoa! Oscar really did his homework. I hope Angel's secret finally does gets out, and I hope Liam ends up a bit black and blue during or after the process of spilling the beans.
Loved the interaction between Buffy and Joni, and the imagery of the closing scene was just lovely. :D Wonderful update!

Author's Response: Oscar did more than do his homework, *wink, wink*, but that's another chapter...;-) And, there's more at stake here than just Liam's soon-to-be-swollen face, and he knows it. Will he tell? That's another matter all together.

My sympathies grow for Oscar with each new flashback, kudos for creating such an interesting and complex original character.
Georgie was so thoughtful to play Santa, can't wait for Joni's reaction to the box monster. :D Loved the Spuffy interaction. Fantastic chapter!

Author's Response: The complex villian is best, isn't it? But I haven't found one yet that can compare to Spike. So I thought I'd try making him. Joni's room should be full to the brim soon...what will she do with all that *stuff*? :-) G;ad you liked the tender moments. Those two have so much time to make up for...

Awww... I enjoyed the sweet family interaction between Joni and her parents. Loved the moment when Buffy's eyes locked with Spike and she saw Homer. The close of the chapter was just beautiful, Spuffy moments like that really warm my heart. Fantastic update! :D

Author's Response: I think they really needed to connect. Thanks for being such a loyal reader of my tales! :-)

Whoa! The William/Oscar twist was so unexpected, I never would've guessed those two had a connection. I hope we get more flashbacks, i'd really like to learn more about William's relationship Mary... nice name by the way. ;-)
I enjoyed getting Spike's POV on why he denied Buffy's declaration of love. The family interaction was wonderful, and i'm so happy Spike is talking again. Fantastic chapter!

Author's Response: I'm glad I suprised you! Let's hope I keep doing it,

Gotta say i'm liking the psychological torture Oscar is using on Liam. After everything he's done Angel definitely deserves to feel the fear he's going through right now.
Joni is such a clever little girl. Unless i'm mistaken Joni is watching Sesame Street with her daddy right? What a sweet picture that paints. Even if i'm wrong whatever she's doing is working so it's all good.
It's a shame Oscar's calling card interrupted the happy scene at the Dustin residence. Can't wait to find out what happens next. Great chapter!

Author's Response: I loved watching "The Count" when I was a kid. Of course she's watching "Sesame Street!" Her Daddy's a vampire... it makes sense. And...maybe Spike's flashing on memories of puppet Angel, who knows? I loved Anne Rice too. But my favorite was "Lestat." Absolutely *Hated* "Louis." Go figure...:)

Awww... Joni's dream was so heartwarming. I always enjoyed the Homer/Joni interaction, and the father/daughter moment between Spike and Joni was just beautiful. I liked Homer's dream talk with Liam, but is it awful of me to enjoy the idea of Liam/Angel getting seriously bashed by Oscar before help arrives? Cause that my mindset at the moment. Loved the update! :D

Author's Response: Glad you liked it. I'm not sure everyone got it but...Don't worry, hrlp won't be coming for a while. Maybe Oscar can get a few licks in.

*wipes away a tear* The scene in the dojo was truly beautiful, and the closing of the chapter was the frosting on the cake. I just love when this family has happy moments like that, they certainly deserve as many as they can get. Can't wait to find out what happens next. Exellent update! :D

Author's Response: "Spike Rabbit" will always take care of his Dove. That's one of the perks pf being "elevated" if you catch my meaning ...;)
