Wow. That Willow scene was really sad. I know the whole Buffy torture in the beggining should be sad but it wasn't. The Willow scene on the other hand had me feeling alot of angst and sympathy for the red headed school girl.

Anything my girl wants? Very true :) Maybe because Buffy is treating him differently than any other did be before. ~ Willow is not happy. Well life changed for her a lot. She would give anything to make it all right again? I wonder how far she'll go to do it.

Oooh, I smell wisps of Willow's magical "helpfulness" maybe coming down the pike...

And I was intrigued by this: "But what a lonely existence this would be if she spent an eternity with no affection at all. Didn't it make sense to form relationships with their own kind?" I think these are thoughts unusual to most vampires, and it remined me of Spike's observation in an erlier chapter that Buffy, like him, is a little different that most vampires (not wanting to kill her family and friends all that much).

I love the way evil seems so 'normal' to this Buffy its not dark and dank just fluffy with a side of morbid.

I love the partnership that currently exists between Buffy and Spike: the way they find joy in the same things and see things on the same wavelength. That equality is something we never saw on the show (Buffy always had a superiority complex), and I like seeing it. I think it works.

Willow is going to cause some trouble for our couple, isn't she? Giving anything to make it right again? I have some theories about where you might be going with that...

Oh, sad, poor Willow! She needs some good friends who don't like to go out... at all ever. Will she curse Buffy and Spike with souls? Who knows. I can't wait for more, this is great!
