Awe :) So it wasn't simply Giles talking to Buffy that was the turning point, it was the fact the Spike got Giles to come to talk to Buffy.
I'm glad that Buffy decided what she wants now (can't express it better); and that is find a way to live with Spike, to fit in her own place.
And for the first meeting of Willow (considering what her spell meant to Buffy) things went well ~

Excellent!!!! I was hoping for a Buffy/Willow confrontation! I love how Buffy didn't even try to hide her bitterness and anger over what Willow did. And I like how you're still taking it slow between our two favorite blonds. Buffy's getting a bit more aclimated but it's still only been a few days. And Spike's being so wonderfully patient and understanding with her. Captain Forehead brooded in an alley for 80 years, but we all know how much cooler and stronger Buffy and Spike are. ;) Anxiously awaiting the next update, and congrats on the new computer! Here's hoping you'll be inspired to write Spuffy for many more years!

Thanks for putting Spike and Buffy in such a good emotional space right before pulling the rug out from under Buffy with the confrontation with Willow. Willow's unthinking "you should be with your family" speech was in character and I enjoyed Buffy's rejection of the notion of Willow as "family." Buffy's "[y]ou know, I wish I'd killed you before you had the chance to do this..." forcefully drove that point home.

Too bad...their first outing had started so well...
Hope Willow won't try anything stupid. She should just let Buffy be...Why have I got the feeling she won't though???
Maybe Oz could explain her a thing or two...after all, he has a demon too.

Yes please...DO spend significant amounts of time breaking your laptop in Addie, we'll all thank you for it. I wonder if Willow (in this verse) even REMEMBERS this little character called ANGEL. It's like she went 'Hmmm. I don't think one brooding, morose and forlorn superbeing is sufficient. Let's make another one' or something to that effect anyhow. Or maybe I'm just bitter because the dark (but oh so hot) Spuffy lovin of previous chapters has been disrupted, if not seriously threatened. So, other than the fact that it's a fascinating premise (come on - a turned slayer, sire assasination, deposing the former love of someone's unlife etc), might there be some other, larger reasons (PTB sort of reasons for example) for what's happened here? And if so will that mean this verse is FAR from being wrapped-up yet? It'd give you a great excuse for spending more time on your lovely new laptop anyway LOL.

I have to say that this story is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I know you where wary about writing this type of story. But is really coming along nicely.

Poor, naive, *stupid* little Willow. I still can't believe she really thought that Buffy would be grateful for what she did, and that things would just go back to normal, tra la la. I'm not entirely clear on whether or not Willow tweaked the soul curse to anchor the soul or not. Either way works for the sotry, but I can't help but imagine what will happen if she loses the soul. I just can't remember!. *groans* Can't wait for the next update.

Yay! Happy laptop! Good for the muse. Congratulations. :) Loved the chapter, it's great to see Buffy moving on-- or at least realizing what she needs to do to try to move on. Sad scene with Willow and Oz, kind of a harsh reality. Loving the fic so much. Update soon!

I know that bloody and painful isn't going to be the way to solve the Willow thing once and for all, especially not with Buffy's soul, but it would certainly be nice...

I loved this chapter! Buffy and Spike's mutual realization that they were everything to each other was satisfying. Their interaction was great. And I like that they confronted Willow (ignorant, clueless Willow), though I suspect we still aren't done with her.

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Poor Buffy. Willow deserved to hear that. I always hated how she used magic whenever and however she wanted. Update soon please! I hope Buffy's happy again soon! She and Spike deserve it.
