loved the ending, also the fact that he gave up going to see sort of a girl friend for Buffy and will to move to be with her. great ending.

I just read the original end of this story and it made me sad. So I can't really enjoy this one.
It still makes me sad that Buffy took so long to go back. She is 23 here? A long time apart. I don't like it much because of that but I like it more than the other. Even if it was too short to work everything out (in one chapter what got worse over more than one) they are talking more here, working things out I mean.
But may it be how it is... I wanted to wish you a happy Bday!

Author's Response: ....sorry. Yes, she's 23; I wanted to make things realistic and show that they did both try to have lives apart from each other but in the end it didn't work. I did kind of end things quickly bu I wanted to show that their feelings were still there--and though the fic did end, they have a lot more left ahead of them still :) and thank you :)
