This is definitely interesting and I'm sorry you're having a little trouble writing, but never fear, it'll come back to you. I too am having some issues like you: I know where I want it to go, I just can't put it in the right words (hence 2 weeks since my last update) anyway, just wanted to say you're doing great, and keep it up. I can't wait for the inevitable moment with Buffy and William

I have always loved your writing and your fics, and i love this one also.. I really hope you can get out of this "slump" cuz i am super excited to read the ending of this story... I love the friendship connection that buffy and spike have... it seems that angel keeps getting worse and worse and meaner to buffy... i could see him doing something so bad to buffy that she runs to spike for comfort. I can see it being a type of tihng b/t spike and buffy that starts out not being spoken about.. like the passion just happens w/o words and then they snap back into their daily routine of "being friends"... for a while could work cuz they are scared of anything more, but the passion turns to something more.. idk if that was what you were looking for bu your comments, but that is how i could see the story going... i love how you've written it so far... i'm sure any idea that you come up w/ will be AWESOME... good look.. and if you need any more reviewing of your chaps--- email me, the_one_1111@excite.com.

I don't know if this would be helpful, but I thought at one point that Buffy was going to overhear the conversation upstairs. Also, perhaps she'll meet up with Eve or even Darla somewhere, and get another perspective on Liam. If you need a break we understand - holidays can be stressful enough, w/o a stressful demanding job on top of that.

I feel so bad for William. It's amazing he's turned out as well as he has considering his absolute wankers for parents. He and Buffy so deserve each other. She's deserves to have someone who is gentle and kind and thinks she's as worthy as she is. I can't wait to read where this takes them and see Angel get a swift kick to that block head of his!

I really like this story, especially the dynamic between Buffy & Spike. I'm not a writer so I won't try to tell you where to take this story, but I hope that you are able to finish it with the help from more creative sources. Keep up the good work :)

Knowing where the story is going and having the exact words to get it there really are two very different things. And I feel like this story has yet to take us readers into a very dark place that even your dark angsty fics have yet to take us. Angelus being truly evil is so different when he's human. And even when human he is still the master manipulator. William knows what's going on and Buffy is telling herself she know's what's going on, and when they are both on the same page I imagine it will only mean danger for both. We are truly experiencing these characters long before they were ever slayer of vampire, truly unaware of their strengths. I do hope you can find a way to get them there, through the darkness. However long it takes, I have faith. :)

OK, responding to your hearfelt plea here. I really like this story & want you to finish it. The story has reached a crossroads where it can go several ways. Buffy & Spike manage to keep their mitts to themselves for the entire holiday & much later after she divorces Angel she goes looking for Spike. Or they can't keep away from each other & run off together, or they get found out by Angel who beats up his son & makes him leave without speaking to Buffy or; they get kidnapped by gangsters because Angel is into some shady business. Ok so you're yawning now but what do I know, I'm not a writer. Hope it helped!!

I'm enjoying the building tensions on all fronts. Buffy and William's mutual attraction, Buffy's wariness about Liam, and Liam's violent anger are all simmering away. Buffy finally suspecting that Liam's not all he's been pretending to be makes me hopeful that he'll reveal himself soon. His crude comments about her to William were repulsive, but William covering for Liam makes sense. Liam is dangerous and holds all the cards. He has the money and the power, and he acts like he owns William and Buffy. I'm looking forward to Buffy learning the truth, it could be emotionally shattering for her, but then she can move forward.

I think you are doing a great job with this fic, I love every word of it. And don't worry about not being able to come up with anything right now, at least you're not rushing the writing, otherwise it could end up very cheesy if you had. Maybe they could all take a mini vacation somewhere, and Liam will start to show his true colors. Plus, somewhere foreign, and being with someone you care about always brings up the heat!!! Can't wait for another chapter on this.

I really love this story, and I hope you'll continue writing, coz I can't wait to see what happens. I myself have the feeling that at the end of the summer William goes away, and the next time he comes he's got like the whole Spike-thing going on and that he's with Drusilla...but of course I have no idea if that's what you planned:P and maybe you wern't planning on making him Spike-ish at all, I just hope you do, coz he's so cool like that:P

I've really liked this story set so far. Even though Buffy already has her doubts, she seems like a person, who's desperate to keep her life the way it is. It would really take something big, like Angel getting violent, to make her leave. Even if Buffy and William ould consummate their relationship and Angel found out, Buffy might still stay with him, because she wanted to save their marriage so bad. I can definately see Angel making either William or Buffy, or both, do what he wanted them to do, just by threatening to hurt the other on somehow. Maybe Darla could rush in to rescue William somehow,, after gettint a new heart. :) Well, these are just my ideas. I see angst in the future.

I love this fiction, and I hope your muse will sprinkle you a healthy dose of inspiration. As for my ideas to where it could go, I sort of imagine William leaving the house, because resisiting to Buffy while fearing Liam discover them in a delicate situation, becomes too hard to handle for him. So buffy would be stuck with Liam like before except now she is missing someting (someone) and Liam notice and shows his true colours.... Meanwhile, I suppose William needs to have experience of his own with other women, but with Buffy still imprinted in his heart. Now how do you get them back together...??? Maybe Liam abuses Buffy and she seeks help from William (later in life)...
Anyway, I hope to read you still, since you are one of my favorite writer, and this story so far is my very favorite. I love angsty ficitons, because they make the happy ending worth the wait.
