What a mess! Poor William left now knowing that Buffy didn't mean the hurtful things she said to him and now she's all alone with her sadistic husband. You weren't exagerating with all your mega-angst warning and I'm loving every word of this story!!! Great work!!! : )

So much anger by all involved. And the morning afters, are seldom good. I wonder where William went. The bad things you live through do make you stronger. He has to get strong. A great, dark, emotional ride. You know I'll wait for it. However long it takes.

Ah well... seeing that the first thing Buffy does after waking up is vomiting won't sure help William's ego. He didn't know that Buffy was drunk too.
Oh I understand why Buffy said this to William. This was his first time and saying it hurt him deep. (Reminds me when Buffy said to Spike "You're beneath me".) Maybe she was so harsh because she had a harsh wake up of her own. Her illusions about Liam are destroyed. I'm glad to see she wanted to tell him the truth now. But it's too late, he's gone now. *sigh*... and because of what she said, that's clear. And Buffy being alone again with an annoyed Liam? Oh my...

it confuses me that people are accusing this of being an "angel bashing fic"... if you like Angel, why are you so interested in Spuffy as to be readin fic about them? whatever... at any rate, love the story, and i will *definately* be hanging around after the new year for the next post! :) (even though now i'm all scared for Buffy, i'm still excited)

Excellent chapter. Buffy was absolutely brutal to William, and Angel seems positively devilish at the end. Will wait patiently for the New Year!

You are more than entitled to a break. You've written a lot this year, it seems; I find it hard to believe that anyone would harass you over that. I look forward to reading again the next time you do update, though.

Poor Will. All the poor kid has ever wanted is a little love and affection from someone- anyone, even. And the tone when he was telling her it was his first time: heartbreaking. I want to scream at Buffy for being such a bitch, but the reality is, I can't blame her. She's scared, and apparently Liam has something on her that she doesn't want known. She's acting in her own self interest, and as much as I hate to stereotype people in their early twenties (and I am one), girls her age do that sometimes.
