You took a delightful, domestic morning after and dramatically turned it on its head. The threat of Angel is always hanging over them, and it's a tension that permeates even their quiet moments together. Theiur mutual declarations of love make Buffy's situation even more heart breaking...

I'm glad to see you haven't given up :) I really am enjoying this story (as well as your others....I think I've read Baby, It's Cold Outside about 6 times).

Keep up the great work! I'm happy that Buffy admitted to Spike that she loved him, too.

Buffy not running after Spike's declaration is a good thing. I hope nobody will tell Liam that Buffy didn't come home... or we have trouble ahead.
Loved it; especially Buffy telling Spike later she loved him too. If that was just enough... She knows that that isn't the solution, the Liam problem is still there. She should know by now that Spike will support her (take care of her).

I have to admit, I was kind of surprised she said it back so quickly. And she gets major brownie points for not running away because he said he loves her.

I love that he's trying to find a way to help her, though. In spite of the change he's undergone since the story began, he's still so idealisitic (which is good because she still has a lot of pessimism). I only hope he realizes he has an uphill battle ahead of him.

I thought this was a great update. I like the shift at the end, how she is now the one who needs to be emotionally dependent on him. Looking forward to the next update, whether it comes in a week or a month.

Poor Buffy and Spike. They're in love but she's stuck with a horrible husband who happens to be Spike's father. This just sucks. I can't wait for them to get away!!!! I love where you're going with this so far!! One of my favorite fics and author!!

Reality really sucks! Sometimes living in illusions are better than actually facing the truth. But Buffy is right. Reality will caught up with them eventually. And im afraid there will be a casualty when it does. I really dont know either how things could work for both of them. I am depending on you Addie to make this fiction end up right.

So glad that you were able to update this. So many good fictions have not been updated lately its a shame.

I love this story and was very excited to see the update. Damn 'proud' Buffy, she loves him (I was glad to see that she told him!!), but she has the other "responsibility".

You are most definitely NOT needy. I love this fic! And I think this chapter was so incredible. :) I wasn't expecting Buffy saying she loved Spike back, either, but she did and it was beautiful. And I just LOVED the whole thing. Even the sad. :( Haha. I'm sorry your writers' block is so bad-- at least your work turns out fantastic, regardless! :)
