Souls or not souls.. I got to know something about from a later chapter therefore I was a bit surprised about the last (but because I haven't read it properly I can't be sure, can I?) :)
Mmm maybe Joy was made after the picture? (Just wildly guessing here.)
Dawn had kind of a break down there, right? She started thinking and it got worse, her feeling overwhelmed her. I guess Joy noticed her dilemma and wants to help now.

Author's Response: Yeah, Dawn is having a problem, all her old thoughts and fears are kind of swooping down on her all at once. Chocolate (even virtual chocolate) is alway of the good. :)
