I absolutely love the conversation between Buffy and Angelus. I love that Spike actually called a whore. I see how this story is relating to the earlier attempt you made for it. I forgot what it was called, but if this one is like your first attempt, I think I know where the next chapter is goinggg!

that was sooo good! i haven't read the first version but this is really great...
a good plot seasoned with the right amout of sex is what i like too... this first chap of course deals more on introducing the leading characters and the setting, and you did an awesome job!

random thoughts:
i love your "control" buffy
is her dad a killer too? or maybe a cop? surely he is weapon-obsessed!
spike merely tolerating dru was... hilarious. i can't understand how he usually is head over heels for her!
i like how u described the wether in ny. i could feel the temperature changing...
buffy a "piece of heaven"? oh boy... you got it wrong!

Ooh, this is excellent! Really, really well written, very dark and intriguing. I'm loving the plot so far--it's really fascinating! I can't wait for more! (and of course, good luck with Columbia :-)

And there I wondered why the title had changed :)
I like the new version, some things are more extended now. I'm looking forward to read what happened to the other chapters and totally new ones :)
