this is so sweet and tender , please continue , and if possible have Xander speak as little as possible , maybe a scene where buffy or Dawn stick up for spike against him would be most welcome.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I've written 7 chapters now, revised chapters 1 and 2 (added Dawn and Spike's reunion to chap 2), and have them and Chap 3 with my beta. Hopefully she'll have them back to me by the end of the week so I can post them. Heh, poor Xander. He does too much talking. Buffy sticks up for Spike, I'll have to see if I can get Dawn in there. :)

First I thought Dawn would love to see them together but I forgot the time line this story is in. Dawn was mad at Spike because what she heard from Xander.
Good that Buffy talked to Dawn and explained it, now Buffy has won her :)
No doubt about it. It wasn't bad for their sisterly relationship either, Buffy spilling the beans now.

Author's Response: Thank you. I never understood why Buffy didn't clear that up in the show, at least with Dawn. With the rest of them, though it would have been the right thing to do, I doubt she would have done it.
