Thanks for clearing it up! (Last chapter)
I like Spike's honesty, telling Buffy. And see, she thinks it isn't important anyway.
Too bad that Buffy wasn't able to tell him (she loves him) but it's still early for her (because she just acknowledge it to herself) and she didn't have the courage.
Looking forward to more!

Love it, so Spike guessed right away it was Buffys blood and that was why she was so nervous.
Love it more please.

Author's Response: I like to think that Spike (and other non-fledgling vampires) has developed sensitive taste buds to blood...and I think that Slayer's blood packs a little something extra. Either that, or he realized that she'd given him human blood and put two and two together. :)

Excellent push and pull of emotions in this chapter. Buffy's hemming and hawing around emotions Spike has no clue about is very entertaining. I wonder what Spike is feeling is askew other than the missing chip.

Author's Response: I think on a normal day, Spike would easily pick up on what Buffy's hesitating to say. But he's dealing with having come back to life -- and not of his own accord -- and so is a bit mixed up. Glad you're enjoying this!

Always good to see more of this story!

What a nice update. I like the way you write Buffy here; the hesitancy and running off is very in character. Nicely done!

I'm curious to find out what's up with poor Spike though! I'll be looking forward to the next chapter!

Buffy’s voice became quieter, almost embarrassed. “I…I don’t know what it was like…where you were,” she said, “but for what it’s worth…I’m really glad you’re back. I…I missed you.”

Shock dueled with astonishment in his eyes, and Spike simply stood in the hallway, stunned. Finally, he pulled back to himself and replied, “Missed you too, pet.”

*sniffle* That was beautiful. Definitely worth driving across town to read. Yeah, so I'm addicted to the Internet. What's it to yah, wanna fight about it?.

Really...this was just...perfect. The pacing was awesome, the dynamic...it was just perfect.

You have more waiting...right?

Author's Response: I'd like to think that you drove across town JUST so you could read this. But then I remember that I emailed it to you and you'd downloaded it before leaving St. Louis Bread Company Panera. :D

Does Spike have a soul? And Buffy has got it bad for Spike. They are so cute together.
