Well I wasn't positive about the soul, just theories I guess. I am more concerned with the "for starters" part of Willow's declaration and what all the stuffs for right now. I finally got all caught up. Still love the story. More please.

Back with a soul? No wonder Spike's so disconcerted and acting all noble about Buffy's feelings. I don't know how I didn't see that coming...This was another entertaining chapter, and I really liked Spike's observation of Willow: "[T]here was something incredibly disconcerting about standing motionless against a cold wall while a red-haired witch ran critical and too-focused eyes over his body."
Author's Response: I liked that line...mostly because at the end of the day, Spike enjoys attention from women, but now he has this woman who is totally focused on him, and he's nothing but uncomfortable. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

There's nothing to be disappointed about as a reader. Yes, I guessed that a soul was a possiility but the chapter was still filled with heartache and suspense.

A soul... seems maybe the powers were involved in bringing him back, too. Though I cannot imagine that's all Willow learned. She seems a bit more freaked out than that. Looking forward to the next chapter, please, update soon.

Great chapter, tho a little heartbreaking for Buffy st the start. Still, knowing what Spike went through on the show in S6, I'm not too torn up about Buffy being the one who has to convince Spike that her love is for real for a change. I think I'm enjoying the shoe being on the other foot, in fact.
Author's Response: As much as I wanted to not deal with Spike not believing Buffy's feelings...she wasn't exactly a river of emotional information in his direction before his death, and now that he's back -- which is hard to deal with in and of itself -- she suddenly loves him.
