But well, it almost seems to be the case! And now Buffy is reminded on her dream again. But she woke up soon....
Well as Spike that she has to get used to it till some point to pretend to be his wife, if she likes it or now ;-)
And again she is back in denial, rather running then to talk to the last evening :-p Well there's enough time for them to talk. ~ Loved the new chapter :)

You do an AMAZING job capturing the "voice" of Buffy~ I can totally hear SMG calling Spike out in the cemetary and telling him that the stalker routine is getting old. I can completely hear her voice when she rants, "forget it, I knew this would never work."

And Spike~ Love how Buffy has to acknowledge that he's more practical in his concern for Dawn's safety than she is, and that Buffy is aware that something about Spike completely "unravels" her (let's just say that makes at least two of us)! ;)

I like the way that Spike subtly proves he's been there for both of them, and that he cares and has the bruises to prove it. And then Buffy feeling badly for ignoring that little truth.

And the dream sequence was very hot! More soon, please!

I'm glad you like the fact that Spike is being subtly. He can really be a 'in your face' person, but he also has his quiet ways. So glad you enjoyed. Thank you for reading and reviewing! Great chapter. It is just like Buffy to run off that way :) Also I've been looking for 'Tough Love" that you said is a sequel of sorts to this story, but I can't find it. Could you tell me where to get it? Pretty Please??

coward, i'm confused though, isn't this after intervention? i thought she would have acted better towards him after that, but she hasn't even acknowledged that he got tortured just to protect her and dawn. it's like that doesn't even matter and she's just back to treating him like scum. he could also lay off a bit with the teasing, they need to make this believable. do the scoobies know about this little arrangement? i would love to see what they think about it. anyway, interested to read more.

Author's Response: I think for Buffy, it's a lot to take in but she'll enventually work it all out in her head. Things will get better, I can promise you that. And if Spike stopped teasing, he wouldn't be Spike. *g* And no, the Scoobies don't know...yet.
