I've been trying to leave reviews, but like they keeping rejected. Basically, it's a good enough story. I hate Victorian England, but it's not so bad what with William & Anne being such nice folks. I'm still waiting for our beautiful wicked Drsilla to show up. HOw long is it going to take for Buffy to seduce Willliam? I mean, wow, she hasn't much else to do in this era.

Buffy learned to play whist? I wonder if - when she is back - will still have fun to play it. She said it, it's the year William becomes Spike. If Buffy didn't change the past and missed it up. *hopes not* She sounds very bossy when complaining about his lateness to William *g*.
Ah sneaky, not to tell Buffy what the words in the other languages meant. But she found out anyway *gg*. Ah and Buffy talked about the bracelet.

Author's Response: Buffy always struck me as a bossy person, and I think she senses that William is an easy person to manipulate (I don't want to use so strong a word as "bully" lol). I also wanted to follow her habit of masking her real feelings -- in this case concern -- with an emotion she is more comfortable with -- like anger. Plus, I just thought it was a funny scene. :P I'm glad you liked the chapter. Thanks for reviewing. :D

Oh! Yes! A great updat to read on my morning break. I think with every new post I fall more in love with this story. Great job!
