Wot a hoot! Buffy thout Cecily had a crush on her! But the English language HAS changed a lot - even in the last few decades...good story. Buffy's esponses as a 21st Century Californian are very apt.

Mmmh with the right topic William did indeed open up to Buffy. Till the Underwood visited.. I don't think Buffy remembers Cecily for what she did to William. But when I think of Cecily's remark I'm sure they know that Buffy is 'only' the nurse. And the got an invitation? I fear she is up t something and that something isn't good.

Author's Response: I always got the feeling from FFL that Spike wasn't completely honest with Buffy when telling her about his past. His "always been bad" comment was followed by the clip of William, but I don't think he actually corrected himself by telling her he hadn't always been bad. And he also said "I had to get myself a gang" when, in the following scene, it was very obvious that the gang was Angelus' and he was brought into it, rather than forming it himself. So, I think as the audience we were privvy to some details Buffy was not. Or, at least, that's how I'm writing it. :P I'm glad you liked the chapter. Thanks for taking the time to review it. :D

Lots of turns in events going on I'm curious as to why the visitors sent William into a panic and he needed to compose himself. Was it for Cecily turning up at his house or was it just from it being with Elizabeth alone in the library and she touching him? If they are family friends I could see William having a long time crush on Cecily and her checking out Elizabeth out just cause she likes William crushing on only her. Sooooo the ball invite would be a way for her to try and step on Elizabeth if she sees William happy with her. Humm this story has got me wondering what all will happen next. I look forward to the reading. Excellent Spuffy story telling. I keep wondering if Buffy is thrown back into the future will she still have the bracelet or will Spike. For her it be sentimental and for him it be longing. Heheeheh only time will tell.

Oh yes!!! Updates! Wow so much going on and you see Buffy following William more. I love the piano scene in the past chap. and I loved Buffy's reaction to noticing William noticing another woman. This story is so good but I do not trust Cecily or her ball about as far as I could throw her. I'm not sure if she's trying to expose William or out to embarrass Buffy in front of her friends.
As always I love your writing style and crawl on my kness begging for more of this story.
