I was little worried about his secret but it wasnt bad at all. Im really curious as to who the man at the station was. But im sure that secret will come in time.

I liked the part where he was so over come with emotion he does have a breaking point with Elizabeth and manners where he lets himself go and has a Spike like reaction. I was hoping/thinking there was more to their connection in meeting then just his Mother needing a nurse and them hiring anyone. It was nice to see William saw her one day and felt an instant connection to her for unknown reasons and just knew instinctively he had to do something to help her and then fighting his own feelings of not being like other men of his position of taking advantage of the situation and the guilt he had over his growing affections over her and to try to fight his feelings and do what was right. I believe he knows she is different from all the women in his own time and that too is part of his attraction to her. I really loved how you put the part in he felt he knew her for years and how hearing this Elizabeth realizes how much he has done for her it was really a touching moment.

Another excellent chapter! Way to end on a nailbitingly suspenseful cliffhanger! I don't know for sure what's different or wrong with William's face, but I don't think it's a matter of him having been turned (at least not yet!) because his breath is still described as "hot" on Buffy's face, and he's still wearing his spectacles, which he wouldn't need if he were a vampire. Plus, he hasn't had time to raise since encountering that voice at the station. Plus, he still acts entirely William-y. Yeah, I know it took a while for him to beat the poet/human into submission to the demon, but I still think there would have been some difference in how he acted, esp. around Buffy. Like, instead of being all repressed-Victorian about their previous encounter, he would have been pursuing her to do more because the restraints would have been off his mind.
Hm, I don't think I've ever offered this kind of...exposition...on a story chapter before, so sorry about the rambling, but I just had to say this, mostly to reassure myself...Even if William must eventually be turned and/or if Buffy must return to her time no matter what (which I'm kind of leaning toward as they're both so crucial in the world-saveage business), I do hope that the two have quite a bit more time in this setting, hopefully even long enough for Buffy to "deflower" the poor repressed boy and certainly long enough for them to become secure in the other's love for them. Hopefully, Buffy will have long enough to come to love & know WIlliam the man so that when she returns to her time and Spike, she'll be able to recognize the elements of his human self that he has kept and come to appreciate/love the new package of her old flame. Yeah, this is really rambling and really long, so I apologize, but what an awesome chapter and story...you inspire me to write, apparently!!
Keep up the great work and please update soon...I want to know what's up with William too (leaning toward him having been mugged or something like that).

Ok if I didn't love William before I love him all the more now for he saved her when he did not know her or have to help her. He is a hero soon to be a demon or not he is truly the love of this girls life and maybe soeday she will see it. How can I slleep now wondering if he's turned God I love this it is addictive.
