Well, Buffy.. with William/Spike-- love transcended death..She knew who he was in the "past".. I guess she now feels responsible for what he has become.. inevitable..

Could we really change the past and create the
Butterfly Effect??

Enjoyed the update.. although the angst is killing me.

Author's Response: You are exactly right. Not only does Buffy feel that she betrayed William by going to Spike, but she also feels as if she has contributed to all the horrible things Spike has done. Whether or not she believes they are the same person, she knows that Spike thinks he is William, and to hear the phrase "all the things I did" made her feel as if he was telling her he had hurt people because she had hurt him. He didn't mean it that way, of course. But that was how she construed it. Thanks so much for the review! :)

And denial buffy strikes again, i have to agree with giles, she is being selfish. it's like she just wants to keep being miserable, not realizing that william is still there. i don't think i like this buffy very much, but i'm still hoping for things to get better for them. i'm hoping the baby would bring them closer together, instead of tear them apart even more. maybe the dream will wake her up, and i don't just mean from sleep.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review. I'm sorry that you don't like Buffy, but I promise you ... she is not intentionally trying to hurt Spike. Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. :)
