Poor Buffy has to suddenly awake to the reality that her Mom is no longer there and that she now has to run the household. Worse still is the leaving of school and the mortification of having to take a job that would embarrass her around her peers. I'm hoping Spike has a better idea for her in the employment area since he kinda knows the demon world I'm sure he can think of something she can do that is not demeaning to her or her slayer status that she can put good use to all of her skills he knows his woman he will try to do good by her I feel it.

Yippee - another fab chapter to what is, without a doubt, my favourite story. Buffy seems so beaten down but is still justifying her friends' actions and could Willow be any more helpful!? Spike waiting for Buffy was very vivid and I have to say not very Master Vampish but at least he eventually told her a few home truths about her homelife, even if it was out of spite. Oh and please let the money thing be legitimate because we all know how bad Spike's plans can turn out! Loved every moment of this - as always.

This was the best Spike and Buffy fight ever because it both made sense and it had a good conclusion to it and no one running off.
Wonderful and easily the best story EVER

This has made a fan outta me and I lost track to how many times I cried reading this marvelously tender and at the same time horrifying in Williams changing.
Really a great story I want to share with friends.

I always love how you show Spikes anxiety with his relationship with Buffy it always comes across so human and genuine you make me love him all the more. And he's trying to respect her wishes and not push things even though he wants the world to know they are together and he is counting the hours for her to come to him. Dawn is the best in this you have made her better then she ever was on the show.

Ok Willow I'm coming to Sunnydale to smack you in the head with a frying pan of reality! Its good to see Spike talking issues out with Buffy and being in a way on her side in showing her her friends aren't pulling their share of work. I so want Buffy to open her eyes a little and notice yeah hey they can all help out around there. I wanted to shed a tear too with Buffy realizing her Mom was really gone and how scary and overwhelming adult life can be. Fantastic new chapter.

Could not resist reading this tonight and fell in love with the way you write. Dawn is cool and Spike makes you love him in his transforming ways it made me have high hopes for the Buffy and Spike romance and this does not let you down. Solildly written you take the fanfiction writing to new heights.

Hott story not what I exected at all and a great surprise in reading. If you were not a S-B fan you would be after reading this.

Hum......................Money easy got could be a good or bad thing cause with Spike it could mean by crime or by his William side and he still has his old funds.
I like your spin on Willow so many writers always make her so goody goody and you made her more human and kinda blind to her friendship with Buffy it will be cool to see how they both grow up a littl in thier friendship when money and adult problems force them to.

I am loving Dawn and frustrated with Willow and usually that's reversed so I wanna see if there is a Willow / Buffy argument coming on soon
