I love that Spike did all his bank business covered in blood. It puts the teller's uneasiness in a whole different light.

Spike's angry rant about Buffy's duplicity in London was heart felt and needed to be aired, but he would have thought her mad if she'd told her true origins. Also, how would his waiting, not wreaking havoc, have changed the present? There are an infinite amount of variables that would have been altered.

Buffy being solicitous and tending to Spike's wounds was lovely and intimate, and I grinned at Dawn coming in on such a cozy scene. The coiled tension of that envelope exploded as soon as Buffy left the room. Dawn and Spike are wonderful together, and your dialogue is always spot on.

This made me laugh: “Aww, honey…you stole for me?”

“Let’s just say I grabbed a little rent money,” she answered.

“Twenty dollars for eight months? You must be running a sodding ghetto.” Spike feeling all proud that now Buffy's stealing is hilarious, and the scene shows exactly how dire her financial situation is.

This was another entertaining chapter.

More then what I thought going in a very highly enjoyable story showing the more emotional side to the players, it makes you want them to get a happy ending

They are getting so good with each other that I am hoping this secret him and Dawn are keeping doesnt blow up in his face.
He has good intentions and means to protect her and provide for her it is just i dont know how she will take it given how Buffy tends to react to certain things it could go either way. Knowing Giles and the gang I can see them pouncing on this with thier Spike hate just to have something on him.

This was great start to finish it went from slap stick to cuddle couch time to a huge part at the end with Buffy and Spike embracing I for one loved it and cant wait for your next part.

“Little bit,” Spike confessed. He traced his fingers across her collarbone, following the neckline of her shirt. He added, “Was a time when you couldn’t wait to be rid of me.”

“Yeah, well. Once, there was a time when you couldn’t wait to kill me.”

In their own way its their own version of flirting.
