What a great fic! I cant believe you wrote a novel length fic! The dialogue and writing is so good you should write your own books if you havent already Youve got great ideas!

Well that took a while to get through! And i am just completely in love with this story. It was incredibly well written--excellent dialogue too.. I think the first part was my favourite because I believed every bit of it, her falling in love with him..Gah! It pulled me in like no fic ever has. Second part was fantastic, probably the best Spike centered fiction and introspective i've read. Third part was lovely, tied everything together really well. Thanks for an awesome read!

Amazing story! I just spent the last three days reading it, and I couldn't get enough. I thought your character development was wonderful, and I was especially impressed with Part 2. That was some really difficult subject matter, but you made the transition from William to Spike so believable. I also really liked the ending when Buffy was being honest with herself about the problems the relationship had always had. She was acknowledging things I had been picking up on from the beginning and it was a very mature moment for her. On a lighter note, I laughed out loud when Angel told Buffy that claims don't exist! Way to take a fandom convention and twist it for use in your story. Thanks so much for writing this. It's going in my story favorites.

You made me go compulsive and obsessive about it..! I just couldn't stop reading it! Every time I started a chapter I thought to myself "ok, time to go to sleep, this IS the last one that I read tonight", I would get to the end of it with something linking to the next that was impossible to resist... haha :) I've NEVER read anything so long (not even books) in such a short time - 2 and a half days!
Good job! I am just so very glad that I started reading the whole thing AFTER it was completed. I don't think I'd be able to stay at those cliff-hangers(?) and wait some more days for the next chapter....

Definitely best Spuffy story I've read so far; it is the first one I read that maintains all the character's same qualities, doesn't go to fluffy or unreal, everything had a plausible reasoning.. and still found super sweet things about the couple (does this last part make sense?).

And I absolutely loved how you kept telling Spike's story since Buffy left William all the way to 1997.. I was expecting for you to just skip the non Spuffy stuff, but I was pleasantly surprised. :) Loved the Angelus/Drusilla/Darla break in the middle of it.. as if to keep us anxious for Spike and Buffy to meet again already.

I wish I had friends who were interested in Buffy (or even just Buffy) fanfics.. I'd be recommending it to everyone. ;p

THANK YOU for giving us hours of entertainment! I agree with one of the reviews below... YOU WILL MAKE MY DAY (or week, or month) IF YOU WRITE A SEQUEL! Of course I suspect you must feel completely "done" with it, and I understand. A sequel is never fun when it is not nearly as good as the original. But if one day you feel inspired and think that you could write it.. even if it is half as good as this one, I would be so delighted! And I'm sure many others would, too. :)

Freakin great story! The writing is excellent, and you've really got the characters down. I know I shouldn't ask this but I really want a sequel. I remember, quite a few chapters ago, when Giles said that Buffy wasn't pregnant, but it was to early to be sure. Maybe she is pregnant? And her slayer powers have prevented all the signs of pregnancy (morning sickness, feeling bloated). Maybe just something to think about?

I just found the epilogue here - I had been reading this story here and on nocturnal light - so I thought I had reached the end after ch 66 on the other site - I was so psyched to find the epilogue. I left the full review on that site - but I want to send you another quick note to let you know just how much I appreciate this fabulous story - I am sure I will continue to think of your versions of Spike and Buffy for a long time to come. It has been such a fantastic ride, I am sorry to see it end. Thanks soooo much.

Amazing. I just stayed up all night to finish this story and it was so worth it. Even though I don't know when I'm going to catch a nap because my 6 year old is clamoring for waffles right now.

I absolutely love this story! I've read and re-read because it was so enjoyable. I'm sad to see it end, but happy you're working on another "William" fic. Only one thing is bothering me though. I understand how this fic was about Spike and Buffy and William's transition to Spike, so of course you'd focus on that. But whatever happened to Glory? Once I re-read the fic, I realized that Willow stated that she didn't know where Glory was. I thought you'd elaborate further on that later. Not that that takes away from the magnificence of your story.....it's just bothers me that she's out there in some dimension wreaking havoc. lol.

Thank you for the nice finish. I can't believe it's over! I truly appreciate your hard work and the sharing of your talent. I will keep this story on my favorites list. I remember meeting you at Dragon Con last year (we were next to each other in the line for the James event tickets) and it was amazing to meet the writer of this great story.
