Loving the turn-around Spike's pulling and Buffy's character also. She's kind and forgiving, willing to give Spike another chance, but at the same time he has to work for it. Good stuff!

Good chapter. I would really liked to have some insights into Spike's mind and heart , about Dru, about Buffy.
I figured out that he 's only just realizing how much Buffy means to him , and always had since the beginning , and he wasn't honest with himself.
He seems to see the light since Dru has dumped him.

Well points for Spike and his sticking by his earlier assessment of his friends and what they think is important as opposed what truly is..... in this instance, Buffy and his budding relationship with her! Watch out for Drusilla Spike, she and her pixies are trouble with a capital "T". More please!

A very small step in the right direction, but nothing compared to the badness in the first chapters. And Spike has told Drusilla he loved her many times?! I think that is your problem - you made his encounters/relationship with Drusilla much too intense and positive, while everything he did with Buffy just looks hollow, selfish and completely evil/careless. You have to do more in that department to make Spike/Buffy believable. I wish you´d write more about his thoughts and feelings for Buffy. There is too much Spike/Drusilla in here. I can´t wrap my head around the fact that he behaved like a complete asshole after taking Buffy´s virginity, and the same Spike, not having changed at all, confesses his love for Drusilla over and over? That is so weird. The base reason for getting Buffy back is missing, you just won´t write it. It feels like a hole in a web or I simply cannot see it. When did Spike fall for Buffy anyway? Why really does he want her now? Weird. But it makes me think a lot, so I suppose your story is good, otherwise it wouldn´t touch me like that.

So Dru thinks she can get Spike back, I hope not.
