And gotta admit, the first two parts of that poem (while very sweet that he's reading her poetry) sounded a lot more like Drusilla than Buffy. What with: "She walks in beauty, like the night" and "Which waves in every raven tress." Maybe it's just me, but the last part sounded very much like Buffy. Beautiful poem though, gotta love Byron!

Sinister plans are brewing as Spike and Buffy fall further in love! I really enjoyed reading about the gift that Buffy gave Spike and how he loves it for sentimental reasons instead of value. Spike and Buffy are just too cute together and now they are going to be tested on their faith and love for each other. Great chapter with the setting up the twist and turns to come. Thanks!

I really like this story and look forward to each chapter. I'm sorry I do have to comment on the geography though. I know you're in England and so where bays and boardwalks and outdoor markets are is not expected knowledge and I can live with that. But when the next day's events include Venice Beach, or Disneyland, or a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon I have to say something. Venice Beach sounds like where Buffy took him although they might have wound up in my neighborhood a short ways south of there, so I can live with it. Disneyland is doable down in Orange County. But the Grand Canyon is like three states east of there and a helicopter tour is just not doable for one of the next day's loosely planned activities. It's just not probable, even if they took a private chartered plane there and back. Just had to mention that. I love the angst on the horizon and am really looking forward to the high school social complications as that is the main draw for me in this story so I hope we really get to dwell there for awhile and don't gloss over it too quickly. But I really do love the story and hope you update again very soon. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Okay, now i hope Darla kicks his ass good and proper. Dru needs committed and not in a relationship either unless it involves four padded walls and a special doctor to prescribe her plenty of medication..............Spike still has a way to go to learn it's best to come out with the truth instead letting the little lies destroy a good start of a possible wonderful relationship with Buffy.....hmmmmmmm.

EWWW, Angel and Dru are so sick. I just hope that Buffy doesn't fall for his stupid plan, but seeing as Spike was sort of a manwhore she probably will.
