Glad to see Buffy did some thinking while Spike was gone and can - at last to herself - confess that she missed him.

I can't wait to see what happens next. I want to see Buffy beg Spike for forgiveness. I'm glad he realizes she wasn't miss innocent in their relationship. Get her Spike!!!

Author's Response: *shrugs* Well, it'll sorta happen ::) He knows, and Buffy knows -- he's been gone four the entire summer, and Buffy's had a lot of time to think about everything that went wrong, so i doubt she'll get high and mighty with the whole It's Your Fault thing :) Thanks for reviewing!

Hello there! I'm so happy to see this story! I've checked your website since I read this years ago and dispaired of you ever finishing it. Dare I hope, that, as I see it here now, that it means you will be finishing it? (crosses fingers now):) Re: your author's note:I don't know why you wouldn't like this chapter....it's well written and moves the plot along nicely. You get to see Buffy admitting to herself that Spike means something to her , and see Spike begin to grow into the person he can be, and doing it all on his own without help from anyone. All in all, I think it's great and I look forward to your updates. Again, great to see this story!!!

Author's Response: Regarding my author's note: Chapter two is my least favorite of what I've written because it was so difficult for me to write. When I originally wrote Beneath You, it was only intended to be a one-shot. Part One was supposed to be it. But then I had clamoring and praises from people, and they were begging me to continue, so I did. It got better after chapter two, but I basically had to force myself to think of a topic for the chapter. I got irritated and mad, and then I just wrote it out saying, "This is just cannon fodder. It'sonly a filler, so that we can get to the good stuff." Ergo, Dawnie's name at the end :) Regarding future chapters: Yes, I do plan to finish Beneath You. I plan to finish Full of Grace as well, but that one might take a little more time. To be honest, I sort of lost my confidence with this story once ff.net decided to ban NC-17 stories. Nobody could find it, and then when I finally posted my website and unveiled the story, I never received any reviews telling me how to go about things. (I do enjoy constructive criticism.) Ergo, why it's taken so long for me to even consider jumping back into it. But after I revamped OoMH and saw the response I got for it, I figured that if nothing else, I might as well at least try and introduce new people to a better version, and maybe some of the original readers will find it, and enjoy it, too. I kinda got off topic there a little bit. Yes, I will be finishing the story, and I'm beginning work, little by little, on Chapter 13, as yet untitled, right now. I desperately need a beta that knows what they're doing :(

Oh this is great! I love how he not only misses Buffy but Dawnie too!

I also like how Buffy is taking some blame in what happened.

Please continue soon!

Author's Response: I always hated that part of season 7 with Joss. Spike and Dawn had such great character dynamic together, but hey, there goes Xander's big mouth, and then Dawn won't ever speak to Spike again, save to threaten him? I had a lot of hope for their relationship as brother/sister, but silly Joss claimed he knew what he was doing. The ponce. *sigh* And that's another thing Joss really failed to do -- address the fact that while Spike did attempt to rape Buffy, Buffy is the one who pushed him to do it by fucking magnificently with his poor head.
