So there may be more to the necklace then I first thought... and Dawn kept her word, Buffy doesn't have a clue about Dawn meeting Spike.
If Spike only knew how much Buffy is missing him.

Really good. This story is a very subtle and gentle read (if that makes sense). I like how everyone is not melodramatic (yet) and you are true to the characters voices. I'm interested to see where you take this story. Thanks for writing.

Author's Response: Well, thank you very much :) I'm trying to keep it as close to the actual characters as possible -- although, I suppose it helps that I speak fluent Joss Whedon, and he's admitted that the words that come out of the characters' mouths are often the thoughts that flow through his head. I'm not quite sure how melodramatic it'll get. I'll have to get my beta to help me figure that out :) Thanks for the review!

Please post soon... I just love this theme... brings a lump to my throat... I love the vulnerable side of both Spike and Buffy!!!

Author's Response: When I first started this story, I was desperate to bring some semblance of normalcy back to the Buffyverse, especially after all of the Season 6 horror. It crossed my mind that, if I had my way, Buffy WOULD feel guilty, and Spike WOULD still be miserable, but they certainly wouldn't snipe at each other the way they did in the canon Season 7. Cuz that's just ridiculous :) Thanks for reviewing!
