But in my defense, the reaminder of that chapter would go over the 10,000 word limit and I simply didn't want to shave off any parts or it wouldn't have the same impact. OH MY GODDDDDD!!!!!! I can't believe you left it there!!!!!! Kuddoes girly, you wrote Buffy so well in this chapter!! Her frustration at being ignored and her take on it , "made her feel as if she was so far beneath him" was priceless. Spike's "Buffy is mine" was also very well timed, because if it came to early in the story, it would have seemed weird, but now, it makes all who heard it kind of go, "Oh...OHHHHHH." I also really like Gunn in this. I did not watch Angel very much, so I didn't have a good feel for him, but your characterization has really made me like him. Please don't make me resort to begging for the next installment...it could get ugly.

Author's Response: Giggles, she is soooooo pissed, isn't she? Hell, I would be too. Yes, after nearly nine weeks of Buffy on the brain, Spike made his little Freudian slip. Ooooo, squeeeee, I like that you enjoy Gunn in this - he's been a new character for me to write as of late and I'm really enjoying his character very much - developing it and such.
