Hi. First off, I’d like to apologize for never having reviewed before in any of your chapters. It’s very selfish of me, since you take your time to share your fic with us, and the least anyone could do would be simply giving their opinions on it.

But your last chapter encouraged me to review. “In the ARMY Now” was a blast to read. I thoroughly enjoyed it, all stages of it. How you used Buffy’s & Spike’s feelings toward one another from the show and how their perception of one another slowly develop in time into something more, and how you brought that same part of the show to your fic, was one my favourite things among many in your fan-fic.

Usually most fics build up the whole storyline to finally getting ‘em together and then they naturally end soon after. Not that those aren’t as enjoyable, but I really liked how you continued on even after they already loved each other and were basically settled down.

I loved reading about things related to the Army. I have zero knowledge on that area, but I think reading your fic helped a li’l on my ignorance on this area.

Truth be told, what made me really adore your fic above many others, was how you mentioned throughout some of the author's note how some parts of the storyline were basically based on real life events of your life. I thought that was extremely nifty. Knowing you went through similar points of Buffy’s life in this fic and probably more and made some of the storyline from personal life experience, made me have a lot of respect for you, especially in the Army-related aspect. Reading your fic gave me a lot of interest in this particular sort of stuff (And I mean “sort of stuff” in no disrespectful way possible… I just don’t know what name specifically I should use when talking about this), and having a whole lot more respect for those who go through it till the end and decide to serve their country.

Another think I enjoyed a lot about your fic, was how you presented Buffy’s parents. Most fan-fics never have ‘em still together. Maybe I’m a li’l silly for liking such a small addition to the storyline so much, but it really kind of touched me. Most fanfics usually follow with the concept of the show’s storyline, or at least has Hank as a right bastard. And I loved how you made Joyce & Hank not only still together but still playful toward one another, and not all bitter like, unfortunately, most married couples end up like. It actually made me a li’l sad; but happy sad… I tend to usually imagine that after you’re married, the love, passion, respect, the teasing and playfulness slowly vanishes into thin air with time, till there’s only bitterness & disregard left. Like I see with every married couple around me, and my parents having given me a good ol’ front view on that sort of stuff. And, yeah, maybe it’s a li’l lame, but it gave me a small new perspective on that area, so I have much to thank you.

Anyway, maybe the ghost after people-who-don’t-review caught up with me, and now I’m writing this long ass comment and probably making you glad I never wished to review before. So, anyway, I’d just like to thank you for sharing some of your personal experiences through the characters of Buffy & Spike (Naturally, I believe you might’ve changed things here and there to fit in the storyline through ‘em, but I still adored it. Made it more special, somehow), and bringing forth and sharing this amazing Spuffy fic with us. And would like to wish you a good luck with life. = )

I can't tell you how happy I am you've truly enjoyed my Spike and Buffy in this one. I did try to keep their canon personality as much as possible throughout it because that's the best way to keep the constant banter going. Not to mention it's funny for me to write Spike as getting back everything he ever did to her. I'm happy the Army stuff wasn't to dry for you. It was definetly an experience that's made me a better person overall - both the through the good times and bad. As for Buffy's parents, I just felt it wasn't necessary to have them canon. A happy household made for hilarious situations here and I adored writing the whole in-law thing. I think, and speaking from 10 years of being married, that a marriage is what you make it and although it does evolve over time, it can get better thru the years. I'm happy to report that's where my own marriage stands. This was such an awesome review darling, I really can't thank you enough - it has me grining madly from ear to ear. Hugs you tight.
