i understand that S has been a moron because he didn't want to fall in love, but i don't understand the scene at Oz's. Spike asked what to do as if he never really courted a woman. that you have to talk to her and gain her trust first is such a back thing that S really should know it, since he's been married twice. it really made me wonder how th hell did he woo those women? just had sex with them? weird.

OMFG, this story was WONDERFULLY written, I Loved it, and this chappie was my fav, god, Xander and Lorne and just everything was hilarious, and sheesh did your husband pass out?(if soo WOW) lol but wow, amazing.

OMG OMG OMG *fans self*

This story is smokin' hot!! I've always been a huge fan of your works, Im_bloody_English, and this is no exception. I'm sorry that this is the only review I left for you, but I read this now in March 2008 from start to finish and I'm just.... let's just say that I read this nonstop until 4am and ready to puke from tiredness, k? :D I couldn't put it down for the next day because it's just that great! I was addicted.

I love the way you make the couple fight and realistically make them fall in love (some other fics are so... er.. quick) slowly. Trust is a slow process. That's how it is in real life and I think with some of your starts like "4 weeks later..." "Eight months later..." it just goes to show that life is indeed like that, no shortcuts about it. And that is the one grand point that I'm so delighted about with this fic. This story is a MASTERPIECE! You've done an awesome job with it and I can't tell you how many times I laughed - a rare thing with fics. :D You have a killer sense of humor!!

Also, I find it educational as well (*gasp* did I just use the word "educational"?! It's a smut fic with plot for Christ sakes!) since I'm not from the U.S. and find soldier life very interesting.

From start to finish, I can't praise it enough. It's bloody brilliant! *smooches* Love it love it love it!

And I caught your bday shout out in one of the chappies... THANK YOU DEAR! *hugs*

Author's Response: Oh WOW, hey, I don't care if this is the only review you left, I'm just ecstatic beyond belief that you enjoyed it so much. This is my fav story to have written to date b/c it's so close to home. OMG, you actually read it non stop til 4AM? WOW, that's like the ultimate compliment... although I do hope you got a good night's rest afterwards, I'd hate to be responsible for blod shot eyes and all that. GLad you enjoyed the realisitic pass of time - I'm a big believer in that, no taking shortcuts for me as an author, and YAY, glad I could make you laugh - I love making people laugh. ANd hey - I'm super pleased you learned a few things along the way too - I always think its neat when people, or me, learn neat little facts in a fic.
